My broken life

Nova's P.O.V

Hi I'm Nova.It's my birthday in soon.That means I'll get my powers I'm so exited.Anna's already getting decorations for my party.By the way Anna is my older sister she has the power to teleport,you have no idea how many times she's got away with shoplifting. I also have another older sister called Diana she's a very popular girl but she has the power to make people feel what she wants them to. She has had a lot of boyfriends because she can pick and choose.Once she was in love with the most popular boy in school and after a day of them dating she made him so madly in love with her that they had sex and she got pregnant with my niece Lana that was over a year ago and she's out of school now so she can look after Lana full time. It was a shock to mum and dad but they coped with it very well. She still goes out with Lana's dad.
I'm going back to school tomorrow.
I've been off ever since the crash.
When my younger brother died.
It was devastating.
His name was Asher.
He couldn't protect himself .
But neither could Lana.
Asher was 13 ,I couldn't ask for a better brother.

It happened four months ago we were coming Back from a camping trip up in the mountains where we got to use our powers but for me ,Asher and Lana didn't have ours yet.

My dad (Landon) was going down the mountain and someone swerved straight into us knocking us off the mountain,falling to our deaths.
We tried to get Anna to teleport but she passed out.Our mum (Zenna) tried to make us a force field bubble but it was too late the door where Asher was ,banged on a bit of the mountain and was hanging off .Asher then took off his seatbelt and tried to grab the door we were all screaming and crying telling him not to. Suddenly, he fell out just before mum could get her force field bubble big enough to fit around so we couldn't save him.
Dad still thinks it's mums fault he tries to hide it but everyone can tell.
The way he looks at mum. He just gets angrier and angrier every time he sees her so he tries to  get out of her way.
He doesn't even sit on the dinner table anymore he just comes into our rooms at night and as soon as mum comes in he's out.
He has two jobs now just so he doesn't have to talk to my mum much. He works at his restaurant day shifts and night shifts in the week he changed  the name to Asher's now.
It used to be called The cheetah.
And at the weekends he works at a club
Then at night he'll come in really late so he can just sneak in bed with my mum when she's asleep.
Mum tries to act as if they're not falling apart but a week ago I looked on my dads laptop and he was looking up divorce I knew it was coming at some point.
