The next morning I was woken up by shaking I opened my eyes to find Kingsley fully dressed.
Kingsley: get up man you gotta go I nodded and stretched and got dressed again Kingsley called me a taxi as I went to brush my teeth. The horn beeped and kingsley helped me load the sleeping kinds into the car. I was about to get in to the car when Kingsley stopped me with a kiss.
Kingsley: I love you he said looking deep into my eyes we hugged and I got into the cab waving goodbye to my king he stood and watched me drive off until I was out of sight wow I never imaged me and kingsley back together did you?
We got back to my mine and I was sitting in the kitchen with the kids eating there was a eerie silence though the house every body was just silent. I looked over and noticed that shayella wasn't even eating her food she was just sitting there staring at it
Me: shay baby come on aren't you hungry you haven't eaten all day baby I picked her up and put her on my lap.
She just shook her head then rested it on my shoulder I sighed and brought her food closer to me she has to eat I cooped up some porridge and put it closer to her mouth she smacked her lips tight shut and turned her head
Me: shayella please just eat you have to now your hungry I can hear you belly rumbling. She opened her mouth to cough and that's when I stuck the spoon into her mouth. She started to cry but she didn't spit it out she swallowed it jovan and kade were watching as they eat I was shocked that she started to cry she never cryed before because this ment her making noise I was really happy actually. I kissed her on her forehead and continued to feed her like she was a toddler
Kade: mummy why cant shay feed her self like me and jovan?
Me: because shay is erm...I don't know kade why don't you ask her that
Jovan: she never speaks mommy she's abit slow I glared at jovan and shook my head holding shayella closer
Me: no don't say that jovan that's rude say sorry
Jovan: no she is she don't do anything she can't even play racing cars with me and kade
Kade: yeah and she- she alwayes mess up my-my card when im playing I rolled my eyes and tutted at them silly children. It was there bed time now and usually Reece would help me tuck them im to bed but well his gone. I bit down onto my tough hard trying not to cry I took a deep breath and tucked the boys into bed.
Kade: mummy when's Reece coming back
Me: erm sweetie I thought we had this convocation yesterday Reece erm his gone to heaven with nana shay memba that's when the tears started to form in kade's eyes again
Kade: I wont uncle Reece tell god to send him back! I rubbed his back while he cryed and he just cryed until he fell asleep. I kissed his forehead wiping my own tears then kissed jovan and walked out the room to check on shayella. I walked into her room to find her wrapped up in her blanket playing with her fingers I smiled and sat down on the end of her bed
Me: shay-shay I wish you could talk to me and tell me what your feeling...it hurts mummy to see you like this baby she started me blankly still playing with her fingers I don't know why I expected her to talk back this time. Sighing I kissed her cheek and got up as I was about to leave her room she coughed I looked back
Shayella: I love you mummy but it wasn't meant t to be this way! she said then turned to face the wall I stood there shocked....omg shayella just spoke but what did she mean?
