Chapter-32: Blast From The Past

"Saw you standing at the bar thought I'd come and say hi", Mark leaned at the bar as In-Ha's back faced towards him.

She looked around to see Mark and smirked.

"Is that the only pick up line you have?"

"I have a handful"

"Oh well! Try again next time", she playfully patted him on the shoulder and winked at him as she went to the dance floor with her girlfriends.

Mark wanted to be near her all the time. She was dancing with her friends when she looked at him briefly and he automatically made his way towards her.

He put his hands just above her hipline and she put he arms around his neck.

"Here with a better pickup line?", she teased him.

"Hey I tried!", he huffed.

"You're cute", she replied

Mark bent down to kiss her but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her. He couldn't believe his eyes.

In-Ha stopped smiling and followed his gaze. She saw a petite beautiful brunette making her way towards them.

"What's wrong Mark?", she asked him but he wasn't responding.

She finally stopped in front of them.

"Long time no see", she said looking at Mark totally ignoring In-Ha and that made her mad.

"What are you doing here Veronica?", he said in a low firm voice and that worried In-Ha.

Veronica? Do they have some sort of history? she thought to herself.

"Hi I am Choi In-Ha", In-Ha put her hand forward introducing herself but she ignored her and continued talking to Mark.

"Can we talk or are you busy with this drag?", she gave an unappetizing look to In-Ha.

"Who the hell do you think you are?", she had had enough of her bullshit.

"Is she your girlfriend?"

"That's none of your business", Mark said.

"Relax would you? ", she said.

Mark scoffed.

"Can we talk somewhere private?", she emphasised on the word private.

"Get out of my sight", he held In-Ha's hand and walked out of there.

Veronica scoffed.

"It didn't work?", Jackson came and stood behind Veronica as they both saw Mark and In-Ha leave the party.

"He hates me"

"Why wouldn't he? You cheated on him with his cousin", Jackson winked at her while sipping his drink and she scoffed.

Mark was dragging In-ha outside.

"Wait Mark", she said behind him but he wasn't listening,"Mark!", she pulled him with sll the strength she had and turned him around.

"Can't you just keep walking for once!", he was fuming and let out his anger on her.

"Why should I keep walking?", she removed her hand from his grip.

"Babe, let's just go home.", he said softly.

"No. I need an explanation of what just happened inside"

"I don't need to explain it to you", he said and In-Ha scoffed.

"What?"

"You heard me"
