Chapter-47: The Misery Of Yesterday

Jinyoung knocked the door and Mark opened it.

"Oh it's you" Mark said sarcastically

"Yes it's me" Jinyoung rolled his eyes

"And you might be here to see Hei." Mark blocked the way

"So smart. Now that you know why I'm here. Let me see her" Mark maintained his glare on Jinyoung while moving aside and and letting him enter

"Thanks" Jinyoung said while looking around

"The one to your right" Mark said with a smirk

Nodding Jinyoung started to walk away but Mark stopped him

"Don't upset her"

"Don't worry that's the last thing on my mind" he said walking away

He knocked her room's door but when she didn't respond, he opened the door and stepped in

She was sitting while the table lamp was on, a book was in her hand and it felt more like she was glaring at it

She looked at the door glaring.

"You"

"Yes me" he said closing the door behind him

"I'm not going to listen to whatever bullshit you've planned" she said

"It's more of a back story" Jinyoung sat at the edge of the bed

"He said you were my first love to Her" she said clenching her fist

"So?" Jinyoung asked confused

"You necessarily don't end up with your first love, now do you?" Jinyoung said again with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"What is that supposed to mean that I let him break my heart when i told him i love him and he goes around confessing to his ex." Hei scoffed, totally ignoring his previous comment.

"Damn you said that to him?" he said jokingly but when saw her expression he closed his mouth shut

"Look i know you wanted to be Jb's first just like he's yours but you've to see that this isn't how life goes" he started but Hei interrupted him again.

"That is not what I meant when I confessed it to him and this isn't making me feel better" she said.

"Let me simplify it. I was In-ha's first love", Hei scoffed.

"Stop being cocky", Jinyoung sighed.

"I'm not. I'm just saying she loved me first but what she has with Mark is something we could never have.", she nodded.

"The same way Veronica can't be In-ha",  Hei raised her eyebrows at him, "and I can't be Mark." the last words were said so quiet that even Hei couldn't catch it properly.

"How do you know about Veronica?", Jinyoung smirked at her statement

"I know everything."

"Shut up." Hei rolled her eyes.

"I just want you to understand his side. Even though I say it all the time but that's how he is. A bit complicated"

"I want you to know about him and Lisa before you draw a conclusion"

After a few minutes she finally said.

"I'm listening"

"It was after my mother got married to his dad. We thought everything was fine but it wasn't the case. Jb wanted a change so they decided to send him to London."
