In-ha struggled with her grocery bags, her arm would hurt on several occasions but it wasn't anything severe. When she couldn't carry them any longer she placed it on the floor looking around for the car. Tired she dialled Mark.
"You said you'll pick me up", annoyed she rotated her shoulders trying to ease her stiffness around them.
"How is your arm?", a voice startled her making the bag near her feet fall when she took a wobbly step to her side.
The groceries scattered on the floor & dropping her phone on the ground but her eyes were trained on Jinyoung who was now kneeling beside her gently placing the things back into the bag.
"How did you know about my arm?", she followed his actions hurriedly throwing everything in. She wanted to get away from the awkwardness.
They didn't talk much after the breakup.
She didn't talk much.
It felt weird to go from talking to each other everyday to becoming strangers . They knew way too much to act normal around each other.
"Now you won't even answer me normally", his words pierced through her and when she looked at him she knew he wanted her to feel it.
"Its better", he nodded at her answer and took the bag from her hold.
"Are you waiting for someone?", he asked again and this time she looked at him suspiciously
"You don't have to do this Jinyoung", the way his name rolled out of her mouth seemed so natural but the situation was contrary to it.
"I'm helping you out. We've been friends for so long and you ignoring me after everything you did isn't fair to me", she looked at him in disbelief, her hands balled into fists and with a glaring look she turned towards him.
"Mind enlightening me about this fair thing you're talking about?", the previous awkwardness vanished in thin air and replaced with her spitfire demeanor.
"Yes I did wrong to you but you don't have to pretend I don't exist just because we broke up. Grow up and handle things with maturity", he threw the words at her like knives, the cold Jinyoung was back and this time she had to face him all alone.
"I know what I am doing you don't have to tell me. Its my way of handling things Jinyoung so don't force me into whatever you think is right for me." despite the bubbling anger she said those words with so much ease that it irritated him
"The Saint back at it again", he ridiculed her and before she could say something, she saw Mark's car arriving in the driveway.
"I don't even know to say. Talk to me once you bring that unflappable attitude back", she snatched the bag from his grip and marched towards the car
She opened the door, placing the bag in the backseat.
"Please take me home.", Mark looked outside the window to see Jinyoung walking away and then back at her suddenly growing worried.
"Was he bothering you?", his voice tense and dark, he jaw locked at the thought of him hurting her.
She noticed his sudden change of mood so she placed her hand on his making him look at her.
"No he wasn't so don't worry."
She gave him a wry smile immediately making him blank.
"What?", he said cluelessly making her laugh.

"Then Yugyeom started whining because Hei wouldn't answer the phone", Mark chuckled as he looked at In-ha's shoulders raising and falling as a grin tugged onto her mouth.
