Chapter-27: With A Dose Of Sass

Hei stood at the edge of the dance floor as couples litter the dance floor. Among them were Yugyeom with a random girl.

"Excuse me", she turns, seeing an awfully familiar guy.

"May I have this dance?", she nods hesitantly and the guys gently leads her to the dance floor

"You still haven't recognised your knight in shining armor", he suddenly said while pulling her close

"These pickup lines, too boring for my existence", she says while removing his hands from her waist

"I'm the one who safely dropped you at the hotel", he said over his shoulder while turning around as well

Hei stopped and looked at his moving away .

"Hey", she followed him

"Suddenly you seem interested", he said without looking at her

"I'm not but I just wanted to thank you", she suddenly said.

"I don't leave beautiful girls alone Hei-Ran", Hei was surprised at the sudden informal tone

"How do you know my name?", she looked at him suspiciously .

What if he's a stalker

Hei was ready to kick some balls.

"Everybody knows you", he said and she looked at him blankly.

He isn't wrong though, She thought to herself

"By the way I'm Jackson", he smiled, "Jackson Wang."

Her expression went from blank to that of surprise.

"That's the look of recognition, i guess"

"Mark's cousin Jackson", she knew him. The self centered jerk who slept with his girlfriend.

Her surprised expression soon turned grim when he said ,"One and only"

As the song ends Jackson pulls Hei with him, she spots Mark whispering something to In-Ha making her blush.

Hei groans in embarrassment and Jackson smirks at her.

"Let's meet this new friend of Mark."

In-Ha was sitting at the bar tired. A blonde sitting next to her was looking at someone with a flirtatious smirk

Rolling her she looked the other way to see Mark smiling at her.

"OMG he's Mark Tuan", the girl behind her squealed.

"Yeah, we came together", she says and the blonde scoffs.

"Don't flatter yourself sweetie." She fixes the neckline of her V-neck making her chest even more revealing. She struts over to him.

In-Ha saw her make her way to him, Mark frowned at her but smiled politely nonetheless.

She said something and Mark raised his eyebrows in surprise responding to her enthusiastically.

She touched his arm and his shoulder and laughed a little bit louder than usual.

okay that's enough you blonde witch In-Ha thought to herself.

After a few minutes she made her way towards them.

"How long do I've to wait?", she folded her arms and mark gave her an apologetic smile

"It was nice meeting you", he smiled and took In-Ha's hand in his.
