Chapter 11

I heard a cough and turned to see my mom.

" Hey mommy." I said running and giving her a hug.

" Who was that boy coming out from here?" She asked.

" My friend." I lied.

" okay well why were you dancing?" She asked suspiciously.

" You only do that kind of dance when you have music on or a boy you like did something nice for you."

Dang she got me. " Okay mom, the guy was the guy I like. He's such a nice person and even helped me remember my meds." I said smiling.

" So this boy pretty much saved everyone at school?" She joked.

" Yeah." I laughed.

" Well this boy seems nice so when he comes back I'll give you two a little privacy." She winked." mom!!!" I yelled while laughing.

She walked out if the kitchen with her box of Pita chips.

I smiled. I ran to my room and took a change of clothing and some pajamas.

I then stuffed them in a bag and brought it down stairs.

I then looked up to see Calum and my mom talking and laughing.

" Phylicia he is such a keeper." She said looking at me.

" I'm lucky she even wants a guy like me." He said to my mom.

I ran up to him and jumped in his arms.

" I'm more lucky to have you." I said kissing his cheek.

" Well you two lovebirds should go pack some food for you trip." My mom said winking at me.

" You know what I have something to give Phylicia for a second I'll be right back." she said before leaving.

We walked into the kitchen holding hands and packed all the snacks we needed.

Then we walked into the living room to see my mom holding a wrapped box.

" Wow thanks mom." I said smiling even though I don't know what it is.

" Don't open it till your on your way to the place." She said.

"We're going to get going but I'll be home tomorrow bye mom love." I said kissing her cheek and grabbing my bag before taking Calum's hand and walking out to his car.

Once I sat in Calum asked me" Did you get your medication?"

I shook my head no and ran inside,grabbed it, and ran back outside.

" Ok were good." He said smiling at me.

I pecked his lips before buckling myself up." So what's this box?" I asked myself before unwrapping it to find....
