When she was in the hospital, she heard Can begging her to come back to him. She was fighting for her life back then and the only reason she survived was for him. Now, it's her time to ask him to come back to her. When she woke up after her coma, he was not there. She only found in her hands his two little stones. That's how she knew he had visited her. But now, she was back home and she still had no news of him. She didn't know if he was already gone or if he was still in Istanbul. Where was he living now? Was he back to the company or somewhere in the world? Was he ready to forgive her or gone for good?

Because of the accident, Sanem had three scars. One on her forehead, one on her cheek, one on the top of her lip. She knew she was going to heal. But she had a fourth one, the biggest one, one that was always going to be with her. This last scar was in her heart. It was burning inside. It was invisible but so painful. Since she was back home, she was not eating anymore, she didn't have any appetite. Her mom was cooking for her everyday, spending hours in her kitchen to make her happy. But Sanem couldn't eat. They all thought the girl was still in shock after the accident. They were so wrong. What was even harder for her was that she couldn't sleep. Everytime she closed her eyes, she saw his face. And when she finally got a chance to fall asleep, she was dreaming of him. Sometimes, it was beautiful dreams of them walking on the beach, having dinner in a hidden place or just resting in his house. Sometimes, she had nightmares. She could see Can disappear in front of her in the dark, or she could see his future life without her. So Sanem decided that she couldn't sleep anymore. She didn't write her novel anymore, she didn't want to talk to her friends or to her sister. All she was doing was staring at these two little stones, hoping that maybe, Can would come back to her.

He was not gone. Can was still in town. He knew Sanem was back home, actually he was hiding every night next to her house. He was spending his whole nights in his car, looking at her window. He knew when the light was on, he knew when her parents where not there, when her sister was leaving for work. He was hoping he'd find the courage to knock on her door, to climb the stairs and to go directly to her bedroom. He was hoping he'd find her writing her book, and listening to music. But he knew it wasn't the case. He knew it because he was miserable too. She had made a mistake, lying to him was unforgivable. But was Can really ready to abandon all they had for this. Wasn't it time for him to change and to learn forgiveness? That's what Metin was thinking.

"Stop the bullshit Can", he told him that day. "You are madly in love with Sanem, man you almost lost her"

"What she did to me...", said Can, not as convinced as he was a few weeks ago.

"Yeah, what she did was bad. Don't forget Emre made her do that. And even if, remember you reaction when you learnt about this accident. Can, imagine your life now if she was dead. Imagine living in this world without the only girl you've ever loved. That one girl who made you stay in town, who gave that goofy smile on your face, who is that crazy that she went through the woods to find you. Imagine not being able to see her face anymore. Can, I've never had this kind of love with anyone. It's rare. It's once in a lifetime and some people will never live this. Don't ruin it"

"It's hard to..."

"Stop now. Ok it's hard, forgiveness is hard. Losing someone you love is harder. Do your heart a favor for once. Give it a chance"

That night, Can knocked on her door. Her dad opened it. He was so surprised to find Can Divit there. He didn't know the whole story. He only knew that something happened between them. He knew that Sanem got her money from Emre and that it made Can very angry. He knew Can left Istanbul and that his daughter was living hell since then. He was mad at him for this. But seeing Can's worried, tired and desperate face, on the doorstep, he decided not to say anything. He just opened the door, let him come inside and showed him the direction of Sanem's bedroom. He gave him a pat on the back as if he wanted to give the boy some courage.

Her bedroom was dark. It was almost noon. Can opened the door, calmly and spotted Sanem in her bed, covered with a nice flowery blanket. He didn't say a word. When he approached her, he saw that she was not sleeping. She was just staring at the wall. She looked so tired, so sad. Can took a chair that he put next to her bed. Her gaze crossed his. He saw tears in her eyes, so many tears.

"Sanem", he whispered as she was sobbing now. She didn't say a word. So he said it again : "Sanem".

"Why did I fell asleep? Why again?", she finally said in a shaky, weak voice.

"Sanem... I'm here"

"You're just a dream again. Please stop it"

"I'm not a dream, I'm here. Sanem, I'm here"

"You're not. It's so cruel. Make it stop"

Because it seemed that she couldn't believe it, Can decided to approach her. First, he took her hand, gently caressing her. Then, he touched her hair to see her first scar, the one on her forehead. And he kissed it. He then swiped the tear on her cheek to kiss her second scar. With one finger, he touched the one on the top of her lip.

"Does it hurt", he asked

"No", she answered, still not sure if he was real.

He approached his face to hers and kissed the scar, whispering so close to her that he was there, for real.

"You're not a dream", she finally said before closing her eyes.

"You can sleep baby. I'll be there when you wake up. I'll be there when you wake up". Her fourth scar would be fine.
