Summary : Sanem is never late to work, but today, she's not there...

(I've been inspired by this crazy kidnapping theory on Twitter. I know it's not really the mood of the show, but I hope you'll still like it)

Sanem and Can were not really talking to each other anymore. Since the truth came out, he took his distance from her. Though, he couldn't help staring at her when she was talking during a meeting, waking through the corridor or smiling at Cay Cay. He knew everyone of her habits, he knew at what time she was drinking tea, when she was going to lunch, he knew when she was happy because she was doing this cute thing with her nose, and he knew when she was worried because she was grabbing her hair around her fingers. He knew everything about her but he was not able anymore to share it with her and it hurt him so much. When he asked her to leave the company, she said no and told him that she knew he still wanted her by his side. She was right. Knowing that she was not far from him was giving Can a very much needed comfort. So he agreed to let her stay, telling her that their relationship would only be strictly professional from now. It was hard but he couldn't forget that the first woman he had ever loved lied to him. Can was still very caring anyway when it came to her. He didn't miss an occasion to make her feel good about her work or to let her know that she was doing great as a creative. So, when Sanem didn't show up at the office that day, he couldn't help being worried. The girl was never late. She was even arriving earlier than the others most of the time so she could take time for herself without everyone screaming and panicking about everything.

Her sister was there though, and she seemed fine and smiling, so Can decided not to ask anything. But two hours passed and she was still nowhere in the office. Maybe she was just sick and she told Deren because she didn't want to annoy him ? Or maybe she was working outside with a client ? Can tried calling her a few times but no answers.

"Leyla, do you know where your sister is?", he finally asked, trying to hide his worry.

"She told me this morning that she had something to take care of and that she'll be late at work. I thought she had told you. Ah Sanem...", she answered, not a bit anxious about the situation. Can couldn't understand how she could be so calm but then he thought that she knew Sanem better than him and that she might be right. So he let it go. But the more time passed the more he was worried. She always answered her phone or at least said where she was. But then again, he remembered how she spent a whole night with him in the camp or at his house without telling anyone. Maybe she was with another man ? No, it couldn't be.

During the whole morning, Can could only focus on Sanem's empty office. People were talking to him, trying to catch his attention, but his only thought was for Sanem. Deren, who still thought she had a chance with him was asking him all sort of questions but of course Can was not listening to her.

"Maybe we should have lunch together?" was what get him out of his torpor.

"Do you know where Sanem could be?", he said not noticing how disappointed the poor girl in front of him was looking.

"I... No I don't, but about our lunch..." Deren couldn't finish her sentence, Can was already grabbing his car keys, taking his jacket and leaving his office. His heart was beating so fast, his mind was not thinking clear.  Sanem would never disappear like that. She would have told him.

+++++

While he was driving to her neighborhood, Can remembered that Sanem seemed a bit off lately. He had thought she was just tired or that she was not dealing well with their breakup. He was not dealing well with it either so he knew the feeling. But now, he thought that maybe something bad had been disturbing her. When he arrived, he directly went to Osman. In his butcher shop, he found him and Ayhan talking and didn't hesitate to cut off their conversation. Blood rushing through his vein, he loudly asked. "Do you know where is Sanem?"
