Summary : What happens when Can's mom meets Sanem...

(It's not following the episode, so Emre had no car accident, and Mevkibe knows everything about Canem)

Their relationship was still fragile, but their love was there, more than ever. Sanem and Can might not officially be back together yet but it was obvious for who knew them that it was a matter of time. Even Mevkibe and Nihat could now see how their daughter was feeling happy lately. And they could see how Can found every excuses to come have diner at their house. At first, Mevkibe had thought that it was because he loved her cooking, but even if he adored it, he was clearly there for something else. They could see how he was looking at their daughter when she was not noticing it, or how he tried to discreetly touched her when they parents were not around. But Mevkibe had eyes everywhere. She knew now more than ever that Can and Sanem were in love. She trusted Can. She knew he was not some random guy. She knew he would treat Sanem like she deserved it. And she knew that he would always protect her, from any pain. Mevkibe would have given Sanem her approbation if she had asked for it. She would have told her daughter to live her life fully with the man she loves and to worry about the rest later. Because she found in Nihat the man of her life, she knew it was something that happened once in a lifetime. And Can was Sanem's true love, she was sure of that. At first, she didn't understand why Sanem wouldn't talk to her. Why would she hide such a gentleman like Can. She tried to make her talk but then, she realized she was not ready yet. So she let it go. But that day, when her daughter came back home with tears in her eyes, she couldn't help but ask her what happened. She had only seen Sanem that disturbed and it was after her failed birthday party.

"Sanem, why are you crying?", she asked while following her in her bedroom.

"I'm fine", Sanem answered, unable to contain her tears.

"You are not, and I am not letting you cry all day and night this time. So you better tell me everything".

Mevkibe sat next to Sanem, on her bed, and wiped the tears on her sad face. To make her comfortable, she decided that it was time for her to acknowledge her daughter's relationship with Can.  "You can keep lying to blind people but you are my daughter, don't even think that I can't see how you two look at each other", she whispered to her. "So tell me what happened".

"His mom is back", Sanem said, sobbing, overwhelmed with sad emotions. "She told me horrible things, in front of Can".

When Sanem arrived at work that day, she was in such a good mood. She was about to start working with Can on a new campaign. Just the two of them. It was sunny outside so she even decided to organize some lunch for both of them, in the park. She was wearing a beautiful blue  dress and a cute pair of boots and she had decided to put some dark lipstick. Of course, she was wearing her amber necklace, the one who was supposed to help her reunite with her loved one. In her heart, their bind had never been broken. In her mind, she knew she had to gain his trust again, one way or another. And she was doing it, little by little, step by step. That morning felt like good old days. Can and Samen working together, flirting, drinking tea and blushing in every occasions.

But that perfect morning ended as soon as Emre entered in Can's office. Now that he could not be taken out of the agency, he was proudly acting like the boss again. And he was not alone when he open the door. Next to him was a very beautiful lady with dark long hair. It didn't take long for Sanem to understand who she was. She had his eyes, Can's eyes. But in her gaze she couldn't see his softness, his patience, his love. All she could see was a cold anger. The minute Can's mother entered the office, Sanem could see all his muscles tense up. With a calm voice, he had this words : "Leave now". He didn't say anything else. He didn't even dare looking at his mother. He just asked them both to leave, showing no emotions, because he knew he needed to contain himself from exploding. Not only had he been betrayed by his brother but the fact that their mother had helped Emre coming back to their father's company was hurting him more than ever. But of course, nor Emre or their mother were ready to leave. They came to his office for a reason.
