Jaune POV

When Pyrrha and I went back to our dorm we found Nora on the ground, in tears "R-Renny..." Pyrrha ran over to her and helped her up "Nora, what happened?" She had been holding on to something and she didn't seem to wanna let it go. "I-I did my best to be the girl you wanted..." Pyrrha gave her a hug and I clenched my fist "When I find Ren I'm gonna kick his ass from here all the way to Mistral!"

"Nora... what's in your hand?"
"W-Weiss suggested that I should get something for Ren s-so I bought a locket..."
"I... Nora-"
"D-Do you think if I ask him what I did wrong, he'd love me again?"

Nora looked up at Pyrrha with a pained smile and I couldn't take it anymore. I walked over to her and joined the hug "You didn't do anything wrong Nora. It was all Ren's fault."

Y/N POV

All the looks...I understood now. All the times she said I love you were lies. How long were they doing this behind my back? What did I do wrong? I put my back against the wall and started to slide down to the floor. "Did I not spend enough time with you? Was I selfish? What did I do?" I put my knees up and rested my arms upon them "Was I never enough for her?"

Her smile...it was never for me, was it? Her laughter...was it fake? Did my heart stop for a lie?

I closed my eyes, only to feel my scroll going off in my pocket. With everyone knowing about what happened, there were many possible answers as to who was calling. Though their reasoning could be predictable. Once I took it out of my pocket, I opened my eyes to see her face. Now her reason for calling would be predictable. If I answer she'll most likely lie about what happened. If I don't she'll continue to call until I answer. Either way, I'm going to have to hear her lies...

3rd Person POV

After a few hours of searching, Qrow stopped looking...for now. He opened the door to Y/N's dorm to see him looking out the window with no expression on his face "How're you doing kid?" Y/N didn't answer him, nor did he turn around. His gaze was focused straight at the window. "Look kid I... Y-"

"Don't. Please. I... I don't wanna talk to anyone right now."
"K-"
"Qrow."

As hesitant as Qrow was, he understood what he was going through. "I... Alright kid." He left the room, only to hear Y/N sobbing right after.

??? POV

I shook my head as I watched Y/N bawl his eyes out. Bad things always happen to good people. Yang and Ren didn't deserve Y/N and Nora. Too bad those bastards ran away before Qrow could deliver justice. I stood up from my chair, whistling as I grabbed my cup of tea "They'll get what they deserve though. I'll make sure."

I walked out of my room and smiled as I made my way towards his dorm. I knocked on his door, only to get no answer. "Y/N, could you open up please?" The door opened, slowly, and I could see that his eyes were red and puffy "L-Look, I'm not in the mood to talk right now."

"I know you aren't, but not talking to anyone will make it worse. You shouldn't shut yourself in. I... I should know."
"..."
"Please, let me help you."
"..."

Without saying a word, he fell on my shoulder, but I was able to hold him up "W-Why didn't she want me anymore? I did everything I could! Is there something wrong with me?!" He cried into my shirt as I held him "Nothing's wrong with you Y/N. There's something wrong with that blonde bitch. She never deserved you."

"I... You think so Blake?"
"I know so."

Time Skip- 3rd Person POV

It took him weeks to do it, but he finally got over Yang. Not only that, but he grew closer to the other teams as well. Specifically Nora. He had helped her through her depression, though they took baby steps since her and Ren were together for the longest.

Y/N POV

I rose my hand up and knocked on the door lightly. "Can't believe I'm doing this." The door opened up to reveal Pyrrha in Jaune's hoodie "Hey Pyr. Is Nora in here?" Pyrrha flashed her notorious smile at me and step aside "Oh Nora!" My eyes went wide as I was tackled to the ground "MY KIDNEYS!" Pyrrha closed the door as Nora laid on top of me "Hey."

"Hi."
"So...could you get up?"
"Nope!" She poked my nose.
"Please? I don't think my body can handle it."
"Too bad. It's gonna have to get used to this."
"What do you mean?"
"Well you did come to ask me on a date right?"
"How do you know that?"
"Jaune sucks at keeping certain secrets."
"Figures."

A/N: The song may or may not have had anything to do with this. I don't know.
