____________________________________________________________________A/N: First request is going to go to Yoru467. Apparently, he's a lycan. He goes first since he was the first to respond to the message board. It isn't always like that, but when he responded I was starting this up. Also, prepare for the longest chapter of this book so far. It isn't as long as other stories made by other writers, but still.
3rd Person POV
October 31, 2XXX
"Well this is just perfect..." To Y/N, today was the most important day. No, it wasn't because it was Halloween. It wasn't that he had a doctor's appointment. It wasn't even the fact that it was raining rather heavily. No... the reason he is a bit upset is due to the fact that it was a day that his crush, Ruby Rose, turned 18. To him, Ruby was a blooming flower that was growing along side him. Ruby was always the most bubbly girl at Beacon, rivaling that of Nora Valkyrie. However... Now that she blossomed into an even beautiful woman... Most of the guys began to gravitate towards her. The stronger, better looking, and more experienced guys of Beacon. Surprisingly, to those who didn't know Ruby, the redhead turned down most of these guys, though they never stopped trying to win the silver eyed warrior. Thankfully, with everyone rather busy, Y/N decided to head to Vale in order to get her present... along with telling her about his feelings.
Sadly, fate hated him like many others.
While in Vale, he began to head towards Ruby's favorite bakery, thinking that sweets would go well with the gift he wanted to get her... however the shop was closed due to the holiday.
"Now where do I go? The is literally the only bakery around here. Maybe... Maybe I could make cookies of my own? No, the last time I tried to bake something I failed horribly. I burnt those things to a crisp." Sighing, Y/N placed his hands into his pockets and walked around Vale for a bit. With each step he took, it felt as though the rain had grew heavier. It was possible that the rain matched his mood... but it didn't seem quite realistic. "Maybe I could head to Tony's. I think they sell necklaces. No, that just seems too cliché. Think Y/N! What would someone so sweet... adorable... like my blossoming flower want?" Y/N then stopped when he saw a large neon sign with the words Hayman's Craftsmanship. "Ruby was always a fan of weapons."
Realizing this, Y/N quickly made his way into the shop and looked around to see a wall filled with numerous weapons. Ranging from long swords that seemed to turn into a shot gun, to an axe that could become a LMG. "Holy shit..." Walking up to the weapon, Y/N slowly trailed his finger along it. "I see you're enjoying the axe." Turning his head to the voice, Y/N spotted an old lady and her son smiling at him. "Y-Yeah. These all look so... astonishing."
"Well when you've been crafting for 40 years, you tend to create weapons that are that good. So, what are you looking for?"
"Do you have any attachments for a rifle? One that involves a scythe that turns into one?"
"Well we did, however..."
"However what? I... I'll pay you whatever you want."
Hearing the desperation in his voice, the old lady's son sighed. "A guy came here earlier and bought out everything we had for the weapon you're talking about. What's up with the scythe weaponry anyways?" Looking down at his reflection on the axe, Y/N groaned. "Of course they take it. With my luck I should've known. Well... there's a special girl at Beacon. A brilliant... beautiful... blossoming huntress who loves weapons. I figured that maybe, for her birthday, I could do something special for her. Guess... fate just doesn't like me."
