Since the incident at the jail, Sam hasn't been able to stop thinking about how he saw Colby with wings and how he couldn't of dreamt or imagined it because of what Colby said. 'Massive black angel wings.' Sam never mention that they were black. Sam sat at the kitchen table with his elbow on the table and his chin resting on his hand as he dove deeper into his thoughts. He thought about how Colby seemed to come from nowhere, how he knew everything about Sam's life and how he was so secretive about his life and his past. "Sam?" Colby asked but Sam was too deep in his thoughts to answer him. Colby walked over next to Sam. "Sam?" He asked again as he touched Sam's shoulder. Sam flinched at Colby's touch as he turned around to face him.
"Yeah, Colby?" He asked, confusion all over his face as he looked at the brunette standing behind him.
"You ok?" Colby asked as he grabbed a chair and dragged it next to Sam so he could sit down.
"Mmhmm." Sam sighed as he looked down at the table.
"Really? It's just you seem a bit out of it." Colby replied as he put the back of his hand on Sam forehead which made the blonde jump. "You do feel a bit warm." Colby informed as his hand dropped to his side. "I trust you but promise me that you will tell me if you start to feel unwell."
"Promise." Sam mumbled as he smiled slightly which made Colby sigh and smile in relief. "Colbs?"
"Yeah Sammy?" Colby responded, loving the nickname Sam used.
"What happened... in your past? Like, before I met you?" Sam asked, slightly hesitant.
"Uuummm." Colby said trying to think of something. "What do you mean Sam?" Colby asked, stalling for time.
"Like where did you grow up? Where's your family? Why'd you move to LA?" Sam asked, knowing something was of with Colby.
"Well, like I said before, I never stayed in a place long enough to call it home. Parents kicked me out so I went travelling and I ended up here." Colby lied, hoping Sam would believe him.
"Why did your parents kick you out?" Sam asked once again.
"They didn't like the choices I made." Colby responded, for once being truthful about his past.
"What choices? A tattoo? Alcohol?... Drugs?" Sam asked as he worried.
"Love." Colby replied as he looked up at Sam.
"They kicked you out because you loved someone?" Sam guessed, oblivious to the fact that Colby was talking about him.
"Yeah." Colby sighed.
"That's harsh. I'm sorry." Sam apologised.
"It's ok Sammy. It's not your fault." Colby smiled.
"You wanna go somewhere?" Sam asked, feeling bad that he had brought up Colby's sad past.
"Only if you're feeling up to it." Colby replied.
"I'm always up to going on a hike." Sam giggled.
"Ok." Colby giggled.*One hike later (because I'm to lazy to write it.)*
They finally reached the spot that Sam loved to sit at and watch over LA. Sam sat down as Colby stood there mesmerised by the view of LA. "Wow." Colby whispered to himself.
"I know right?" Sam answered. "Come sit down." Sam said as he patted the ground next to him. Colby scurried over and sat next to him, still looking at the horizon as Sam looked at him. "This is were I come when I need to chill out." Sam sighed as he turned his head back to the beautiful sunset that was happening on the horizon.
"I can see why. It's... beautiful up here." Colby replied, his eyes still fixed on the sunset.
"I'm sorry for asking about you past. I shouldn't have been so nosey." Sam apologised again as Colby turned his head towards him.
"It's ok Sammy. Don't worry about it." Colby smiled as he put his arm around Sam's shoulders and pulled him in close. Even though this was something lover would do, Sam didn't care. He just wanted to enjoy the moment so he snuggled up to Colby.(Sorry I didn't update for the past two days. I forgot, whoops! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻)
