"Colby?" Sam cried as Colby started to close his eyes. "Colbs? Colby!" Sam screamed, Colby not responding. Sam pulled Colby up to his chest so he could put his head in the crook of Colby's neck. "Please... please don't leave me... you have to wake up... you have too..." Sam whimpered into Colby's ear but Colby did not respond. Sobs erupted for Sam's mouth as he held motionless Colby in his arms. "This is all my fault... I'm sorry... I'm sorry." Sam cried as he looked up at Shea, who was crying and feeling sorry for herself. Sam gently lay Colby down on the ground before he walked over to Shea. "YOU!" He screamed, anger filled his body. "WHY?" He yelled. "WHY?" He screamed louder but Shea did not respond, she just stared at the ground. "FUCK YOU!" He screamed before he turned back to Colby. "Look at what you've done. Why? Why couldn't you just let him be happy?" He shouted as he turned around to see Shea stood up with the sword in her hand. "You gonna kill me too?" He asked as she looked up. "We'll go ahead and fucking DO IT!" He screamed as she lunged for him. Once again he closed his eyes, ready to die but yet again he didn't feel anything. Sam heard a clang before he opened his eyes to see another angel in front of him with a sword.
"That's enough Shea!" The angel screamed.
"Brennen? What the fuck are you doing here?" She yelled, tears still rolling down her face.
"I've come to take you back!" He yelled as two other angels appeared behind her, both of them had their swords drawn.
"Time to go home Shea!" One of them shouted.
"You've done enough here." The other one shouted. Shea gave up and dropped her sword. She held her arms out so they could cuff them. Whilst all of this was happening, Sam had crawled back to Colby. He stroked Colby's hair as he silently cried. Colby coughed and opened his eyes slightly, he was struggling to breathe.
"Colby?" Sam whimpered, knowing Colby didn't have much time. Sam grabbed Colby's hand as Brennen knelt down beside them. "It's okay, I'm here." Sam cried but Colby couldn't respond, he was struggling to breathe never mind talking. Colby did try to talk but the words just came out as coughs and wheezes.
"Sam. If he has any chance at living I have to take him back to heaven." Brennen explained in a very calm voice.
"So you'll patch him up and then he'll come back, right?" Sam sobbed as he looked into Brennen's eyes.
"It's not that simple Sam. Even if we do save him, he might not be allowed to return." Brennen replied.
"Then let me come with you!" Sam cried.
"You can't, I'm sorry." Brennen apologised.
"I can't loose him! I want to be by his si-" Sam was interrupted by Colby coughing up blood.
"Sam. I've got to take him now or he's going to die!" Brennen shouted. Sam leaned over and kissed Colby.
"I love you and I always will." Sam whispered before he looked up at Brennen and nodded, signalling to him that it was ok to take Colby away. Brennen quickly flew off with Colby, the other two angels following as they carried Shea. Sam was alone.
