"Sam!" Colby screamed as he quickly sat up in the hospital, panting and sweating after the nightmare he just had.

"Colby. Hey, hey. It's ok. I'm here." Sam reassured as he grabbed Colby's hand and cupped his cheek. Sam was sat in the chair next to the bed. "You're ok, you're safe." Sam whispered, trying to calm Colby down.

"They... T-They said t-they w-were..." Colby stuttered before he burst into tears and Sam pulled him into a hug.

"Shhh... It's ok. You're safe." Sam whispered. Colby hugged Sam tightly as he remembered his nightmare about the day before. "It's ok Colbs, I got you." Sam whispered as Colby sobbed into Sam's shoulder. Sam rubbed Colby's back soothingly before they pulled away and Sam cupped Colby's cheek, wiping his tears away with his thumb.

"W-what h-happened?" Colby stuttered as he looked down and Sam's hand dropped from Colby's cheek.

"Well I got you to the car and then you passed out." Sam sighed as he stood up and sat on the bed so he could be closer to Colby. "Then they chased us until the police stop them. They arrested them and then we brought you to the hospital. You've been asleep for over a day." Sam explained as he held Colby's hand.

"They got all of them?" Colby asked as Sam looked down.

"Errr... most of them." Sam mumbled.

"Most of them?" Colby asked, fear in his voice.

"Kat got away." Sam mumbled, not wanting to scare Colby. Colby nodded as he sighed, not knowing how else to respond. "But it's ok. The police are searching for her. we'll find her." Sam said as he looked up and Colby, who was looking down. Sam put his hand under his chin and raised his head so there eyes were meeting. "I promise I will never let anyone hurt you ever again." Sam whispered which made Colby nod. "What happened? What did she do?" Sam asked as Colby looked away. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't of as-"

"No. It's okay Sammy." Colby sighed as he looked at Sam. "It's just h-hard to talk a-about." Colby stuttered as he looked down.

"Is that what your nightmare was about?" Sam asked as he put his arm around Colby's shoulders. Colby nodded with a whimper. "You don't have to talk about it."

"She.. she..." Colby tried to undo his hospital gown. Sam helped him. He pulled the gown down to see that their were blood soaked bandages all over his back.

"Colby... Did she?..."

"Cut off my wings... yes." Colby whimpered before he put his head in his hand and started crying.

"Oh Colby..." Sam whispered as he pulled Colby into a hug, making sure not to touch his back. "I'm so sorry."
