Today is the day that I go shopping for my dress. I'm super nervous bc I'm very picky with clothes. My dad and I have the same type of style for clothing. My dad taught me how to dress soo... I brought him with us.

As we walked in the store the lady walked up to us. I noticed people pulling there phones out and cameramen at the door.

"Hi, how my I help y'all today." The lady said nicely smiling.

"Umm..we're looking for prom dresses?" I say looking around.

"Ahh.. your Russell's daughter. I'm his fashion designer." She said putting her hand out.

Before I could shake her hand my dad came.

"Ahh Darla hows it going?" He said giving her a hug.

"I'm great I'm looking for my baby girl a homecoming dress." He said touching my arm.

"You used to talk about her all the time. She's grown soo much." She said looking at me.

"She's so grown.. I remember her just being a little girl. Now she's.. all grown up." He said getting teary eyed.

"Ok dad.. let's find a dress now." I said pushing him towards the dresses.

"What color would are you thinking of right now?" Darla asked me.

"Blue," My dad and I said at the same time.

"Ok then." Darla said laughing.

"Jae can you hurry up please I wanna go to Louis Vutton." I heard my dad say as I'm in the dressing room.

"Hold on it has to fit right." I said adjusting my dress. Then I opened the door and walked.

"Omg baby girl that looks so good on you!" My mom said.

"It looks beautiful and it fits so perfectly." Darla said.
I looked at my dad and see him about to cry.

"What do you think daddy?" I tilting my head chuckling.

He just smiled and put his hands to his eyes. I walked up and hugged him.

"I love you dad." I said hugging him.

"I love you too my grown girl." He said hugging me back.
