Today we take pictures for basketball. Then practice starts. I'm soo excited because basketball is my life.

I wake up and do my hygiene stuff then put on my uniform. I do a little bit of makeup and put on a Nike headband.

I put extra clothes in a bag because I'm not finna wear this all day. I walk downstairs to see my family at the table as always.

"Ahh look at that... looks good on you!" My dad says.

"Ofc It looks good on me. I'm a Westbrook!" I say laughing and high-fiving him.

I ate breakfast and walked out the door.

"See ya later!" I yelled as I walked out the house.

I got to the car and played my music as usual.

I walk through the school doors and go to my locker. I look behind my locker door to see Kyla in a cheer uniform.

"Kyla, girl you look cute!" I said giving her a hug.

"You do too! Surprisingly, you look cute in everything." She said looking at me smiling.

"Thanks." I said grinning.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and see Melo of course with a big grin on his face.

"Heyy JJ!" He said.

"Hey Curls?" I say with a confusing face.

"Out of my way, cheer captain coming!" I hear a familiar voice.

I know exactly who it is. I close my locker and hold my books close to me crossing my arms.

"Oh would you look who it is." Ashley said talking to her minions pointing at me.

"Another Westbrook wearing a basketball uniform. How convenient!" She said with her high pitched voice.

"Don't let that bitch get to you!" Kyla whispered in my ear.

"Look who is Ashley Alvano one of the biggest hoes in the school." I say.

"How convenient!" I say mocking her.

"Listen Jaedyn today's my day to shine. I look entirely too cute to be embarrassed. I really don't have time for your bullshit." She says calmly.
