Today the ball family is coming over for lunch. It's been a minute so my parents decided to invite them over. Just like old times.

I've been talking to Zo and Gelo but not Melo. I guess he's been to busy for me but I guess that's okay right? At least I get to spend time with him today.

"Honey can you answer the door?" My mom yelled putting the food in the oven.

"I got it!" I yelled.

I opened the door to see the family.

"Hey guys!" I moved out of the way so they could come in.

"Big baller is in the house!" LaVar yelled.

I saw Zo holding Zoey.

"Aww! Can I see her?" I asked Zo.

He handed me to her.

"She so cute!" I said admiring her.

"She looks just like you Zo." I tell him.

"I know she pretty because she looks like me." He said smiling.

I just laughed.

"Hey big bro!" I said to Gelo.

"Sup!" He said.

"Melo Dip! Long time no see." I tell him.

He just nodded.

"You good?" I asked him.

"Man is just in his feelings right now." Gelo said.

I just nod.

He's been like this all the time. Is it something I did? Is it something Ashley did? Who knows?

After we ate the boys went downstairs to the game room and I made Melo come to my room.

"Melo what's wrong with you?" I ask him closing the door.

"You is what's wrong with me." He said frustrated. 

"What did I do?" I asked.

"This whole be happy for each other is not working." Melo said rubbing his temples.

"Why? Your happy I'm happy. Why can't we just be happy for each other?" I ask him.

"Because I'm not happy Jaedyn. You've been so caught up with your boy toy that you haven't even noticed." He said rolling his eyes.

"Well I try to talk to you but you just nod your head or ignore me." I say.

Then I just pause.

"Why can't you be happy for me? I was for you and you should return the same." I said shaking my head.

"I've tried Jaedyn.. but I just can't anymore." He said softly.

"Why?" I ask him.

He pauses and looks up at me.

"I'm still in love with you Jae. That's why. I know it was stupid for me to come back to LA and start dating Ashley. I wasn't thinking at the time. Now I know that I'm still in love with you." He said putting his hand on my cheek.

I smile but my smile turns to a frown.

"I'm dating Shareef Melo. He's a really good guy and I like him. I can't do that to him Melo you know that." I say.

He just sighs and looks down.

"Melo, please just be happy for me." I tell him putting his head up.

"I guess jealousy is a bitch huh?" He scoffed, pushed my hand off, and walked out of my room.

I sigh.
