How he comforts you

Gaa!!! So life, but I'm so sorry it's been ages since I updated this! Sorry this isn't the longest thing in the world but I had this idea on the way to clinical and I thought it was adorable, here you guys go! 1/2 way through my second to last semester of nursing school so yay! Hope everyone else's school year is off to a good start!

How he comforts you

Jack
Jack can always sense when something is bothering you. He says the air just feels different. Whenever he feels that change, he is instantly pulling you into a strong but not smushing hug, kisses the top of your head, and whispering how much he loves you. He has no idea how much you appreciate this other sense of his.

Davey
David says you make a certain face when something is weighing heavily on you. But all you know is that you almost instantly feel better when he gently cups your face in his hands and rests his forehead against yours and is just there with you in that moment.

Kid Blink
You never remember having someone to comfort you before you met Blink. So the first many times he asked you if something was wrong and you replied that you were fine, he took your word for it. But now you've learned to tell him if something is bothering you. But even if you out of habit reply to his concern with the phrase "I'm fine." Blink gathers you into his arms and rubs the small of your back. Most of the time that's all it takes for you to begin to vent and he continues his tender ministrations until well after you are finished.

Spot
Spot is the first one to tell anyone that he's not a fan of mushy stuff. But if he gets the feeling that you are feeling down, he's at your side kissing away any tears he finds while holding your hands against his heart as to say how his heart is beating just for you.

Mush
He knows he's not good with words so when you need his support, or even when he thinks you might, he wraps you tightly in his arms. In a position that your ear is pressed against his heart allowing it's steady rhythm to reassure you in ways words never could.

Crutchy
Crutchy struggles with feeling like he is not enough for you, but what he doesn't know is that you feel that he is too good for you. The way he takes your hands into his and kisses the tip of each finger, then the tip of your nose then your lips as tenderly as possible when you've had a rough moment or day, is the best medicine for your heart.

Racetrack
Race gets all serious when he notices you are upset. He gets all quiet and makes you a hot cup of tea, before leading you to the couch to hold you and play with your hair until the tea is gone. Then he just continues to hold you and listens to whatever you have to say with all his love.

Boots
Boots is a great guy and he always just allows you to just cry or vent while holding you close and running his thumb along your temple whenever you feel the need.

Specs
Specs is a quiet guy when it comes to emotions and so are you. He merely knows to curl up with you and listens to you read aloud. At some point a damm breaks and you start to vent about what is bothering you. Once you're done he validates your feelings and kisses you tenderly. It is simply perfect!

Skittery
Skittery knows better than anyone you know what it means to have a low day. He knows to just you cry into his chest and he rubs your back reassuringly. Then later, he always finds something sweet for you and kisses your forehead and tells you how much he loves and cares for you.

Bumlets
All you have to do is have a frown on your face for longer than 20 minutes and Bumlets takes it upon himself to pick you up like you would a little child and takes you somewhere private and quiet. There he listens to you holding you as tight as he can making sure you know he is there and he will never let you go through even the smallest thing alone. You don't know how you deserve him.
