The Babysitter

First time playing slender

"Yes!" I said happily. He lead me to the room with all of the gaming equipment. 

"This is the recording room..or a gaming room. Whatever you want to call it." Felix informed me. Felix unplugged his headphones and replaced them with earbuds that we each took one and put the in our ears. I sat down in the couch, near Felix, and placed my hand on the mouse.

"So like this?" I tapped the "W" key and the player walked forward. 

"Yeah! Just like that. And if you start to hear or see static then slenderman is near you and you have to run." He explained. After about 12 minutes of exploring the game map, I became bored. 

"Where is he? I thought you said this game was scary." I said. That's when static started to appear on the screen and buzzing noises in my ears erupted. I turned my character around and Slenderman was right in front of me. 

"Oh no, and you only have 1 page! Run!" Felix panicked. But I only had one page and looked everywhere on the map. I didn't feel like searching the entire forest again so I ran up to Slenderman.

I shouted,"YOLO!!" Then, the sound and static stopped.

"What? You didn't die?" Felix questioned. It was all silent until a loud blare of static shot through both of our ears and a flash of static on the computer monitor. I yanked my earbud out while screaming. Felix was against the wall, nearly crying. 

"That...almost...made..me die.." I repeatedly paused. As soon as I caught my breath, I was laughing. Who knew a game could scare you that much? Felix eventually recovered from the scare. 

"Oh my god...." He whispered. I turned towards Felix and tried to figure out what he was so surprised about. 

"Ok, I give up..what is it?" I asked. 

"This video camera...was on the entire time...we got that on film!" Felix exclaimed. 

"We HAVE to watch it. You cried like a baby." I teased. 

"I'll order pizza so we can watch it...and YOU were the one that cried." Felix laughed, in defense.
