"April... April..." April slowly began to wake up from being unconscious for about an hour. She woke up to see a blurry figure in front of her. It finally began to get clear to her who was there, and it was Keith. She also noticed she was on the couch now so, she made an attempt to sit up but she winced in pain from her head. "Do you remember what happened?"
April sat there, thinking of the events that took place before, "All I remember is Karson leaving, then someone coming back in and I thought it was Karson so I went out of my room with a bat to see what was up. Then I felt something hard hit the back of my head and now I'm here." She explained as thoroughly as she could. Then she realized something, "Hold on, how and when did you get in here?"
"A few minutes ago, your door was wide open." Keith replied, then he chuckled, "What? Did you think I did something to you?"
"I mean, you did kinda show up here unexpectedly and you definitely don't have a key." She said with an attitude.
"Why would I do that knowing you're carrying my child? And thank god you and the baby are fine." Keith sighed in relief.
"Why aren't you caring about your other child?" She rolled her eyes.
"Seriously? I just helped you and that's what you're worried about? You could've miscarried and this is the first thing on your mind." April got silent, she felt bad now, "Moving on, do you know who could've cane in here?"
"If I did, don't you think I would've said so? Khalil has a restraining order and nobody else dislikes me except for your hoe." Her voice gradually rose.
"Look, I'm really not here for this," Keith got up from the couch, "Help yourself to your bedroom somehow." He said heading toward the door.
She got up from the couch quickly, only to fall into her knees. Yes, her head was hurting that bad. "Keith, wait, I'm sorry." She begged. He turned around to see her on the floor and furrowed his eyebrows. "Please stay. I don't wanna be alone incase whoever comes back."
"Kars and Dana will be home soon, you'll be aight." He said nonchalantly. This was very amusing to him for some reason.
"Keith!" She whined loudly, beginning to cry. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Fine, April. Damn, you're such a big baby." He walked over to her, picking her up off the floor, bridal style.
"So, now you think I'm fat? Wow, Keith," She cried harder, hormones were kicking.
"Shut the hell up, you know you a slim thick sexy queen." He said in a jokingly way taking her into the bedroom. This made her smile a little bit. One thing about him she loved, he was goofy when the time was right, always.
Later, Dana and Karson came in from the club. Dana went straight to her bedroom as usual. And Karson decided to check on April. She opened the door and saw Keith cuddling with April in bed. His clothes still on and everything.
Karson smiled and quietly closed the door. She was happy that her best friend was finally happy with a man, for once, knowing what she went through with Khalil. Karson traveled to Dana's room, closing the door behind her.
"Girl, April and Keith in there sleep together and they're so adorable." Karson quietly said still smiling.
"They're not gonna last long." Dana nonchalantly said, slipping on her pajama pants after walking over to her mirror.
