Chapter 3. The New Beginning

         LOUIS' POV

Liam arrived. He was with Niall. I was so drunk that I could barely see and hear them. I felt terrible. Nancy was telling them something while I was still sitting on the floor. She was probably explaining them what happened. I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. I was exhausted. I already closed my eyes when I felt 2 strong arms grabbing my body. It was probably Liam. He put me in his car. Nancy sat next to me. I didn't see her but I could feel her soft hands on my head. She was whispering things I wasn't able to hear. Gosh, I knew that tomorrow I probably won't remember anything and that made me hate myself. I got wasted because of a cheater. I should have stayed strong, I shouldn't have put my hope on alcohol.

         LIAM'S POV

I firstly drove to Nancy's house. The poor girl was all alone with wasted Louis. She have always been one of our closest friends so I hope she wasn't disappointed when she discovered that side of Tommo (that's Louis' nickname). After 20 minutes of car ride, we were already in front of Nancy's apartment.

Niall: Thank you for taking care of our bro while we weren't there!
Liam: Yeah Nancy. It means a lot.
Nancy: No worries guys. Don't leave him alone for tonight, okay? God knows what could he do.
Niall: Yeah, we're gonna take him to Liam's place. I'm gonna stay at Liam's too tonight.
Liam: See? Louis is in safe hands!
Nancy: Mhm. Bye guys. Take care!
Niall: Bye!
Liam: Good night!

So I drove to my apartment. When we were already there, me and Niall tried to drag Louis out of the car.

Louis: W-what a-r-re you d-doing? L-leave me alone!
Niall: Just shut up and get out already. We don't want you to sleep in the car.

We finally managed to drag him out. Louis made it really difficult for us to get him to lay down and sleep. He kept blabbering. I don't blame him. If the girl I loved would cheat on me then I'd probably react the same way.

////////THE NEXT MORNING////////

         NANCY'S POV

God... Last night was a disaster. I wonder how is Louis doing. I woke up pretty late today. Probably because I came home after midnight and barely slept, since I was thinking about Louis. I got up, took a shower and put on my casual clothes. Then I reached for my phone and decided to call Tina.

Tina: "NANCY?! YOU OKAY GIRL??!! DID SOMETHING BAD HAPPEN TO YOU YESTERDAY? WE CALLED YOU A MILLION TIMES BUT YOU DIDN'T PICK UP! NANCY?? YOU STILL HERE???"
Nancy: FOR GOD'S SAKE TINA! STOP SHOUTING IN MY EAR!
Tina: "So you suddenly dissappear, ignore our calls and want me not to shout?!"
Nancy: Calm down. Nothing happened to me. I'm okay. It's just Louis...
Tina: "What does Louis have to do with you disappearing?"
Nancy: He was in the same club... With Eleanor...

So I told her everything that happened last night.

Tina: "Oh... I'm sorry for him. But you know? Emma and Lisa will be pissed if they find out why you ditched us. They stayed at my place last night and still are asleep. What do you want me to tell them when they wake up?"
Nancy: Just tell them the truth. Emma and Lisa aren't my parents. They can't make me stay away from the people I care about.
Tina: "Are you sure you want me to tell them the truth? This might not end well... Look, I'm avoiding the boys, that's why I don't have problems with the girls."
Nancy: I'm sure, Tina. I would never ditch you if it wasn't important.
Tina: "As you wish. Talk to you later."
Nancy: Bye.

I put my hair in a ponytail, took my bag and got out of my house. "Sh!t. I forgot my phone in my room. Ugh, I already locked the door. I'm too lazy to go and take it. Tina knows that I'm alright, so I guess there's nothing to worry about". I went to KFC and brought A LOT of food! Then I went straight to Liam's house. I knocked the door with difficulty because of the food I carried with me. Harry opened the door.

Harry: Oh hi Nancy. Come in!

I went in and saw that Zayn joined the boys too. Everyone was there except for Louis. He was probably still sleeping. I greeted them all and sat next to them on the couch.

Nancy: So how is Louis doing?
Liam: He is still asleep so we don't know.
Niall: Thanks for the food girl! That's why I like you so much!!!
Nancy: Haha stop eating Niall. Wait until Louis wakes up so we can eat it all together!
Zayn: If we wait for Louis to wake up, Niall will die from hunger. He can't resist the food!
Harry: That's right! I'll go and wake Louis up!

Everyone was laughing expect for Niall. Of course he couldn't laugh. His mouth was full of food.
After couple of minutes Harry came back with Louis.

Louis: FREE FOOD!!! NIALL GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY FOOD!

I was surprised that he could joke around after what happened. Did he get over Eleanor just in a night? But when I looked through his blue eyes, I found the answer of my question. Of course he couldn't have moved on that fast. He was smiling but his eyes were still full of pain. That was obvious.

Louis: Thank you so much Nancy for the food!
Nancy: No problem!
Zayn: Today we have a rehearsal, do you think you'll be able to join us, Louis?
Louis: Uhh.... A rehearsal... Can I have a day off? I'm just really not in mood for rehearsing.
Harry: We totally understand you mate.
Liam: Yeah, you can stay home today and rest.
Niall: Actually I have a better idea. Instead of staying at home, Louis could go out with Nancy. I'm sure that'll take your mind off Eleanor, right buddy?
Louis: That's a brilliant idea Niall! Do you want to spend your day with me, Nancy?
Nancy: Sure, why not? That's what are friends for!
Louis: Great! Just let me go and take a quick shower!
Liam: You can also grab some of my clothes. Yours are smelling like shit, dude!
Louis: Haha, thanks Liam!
