Chapter 4. The New Beginning (part 2)

LOUIS' POV

I took a quick shower, grabbed some of Liam's clothes, fixed my hair and went downstairs.

Nancy: Are you ready to go?
Louis: Yes!
Nancy: Okay, where will we go?
Louis: You love amusement parks, right? We can start from there!
Nancy: I adore amusement parks!
Louis: Let's get going then! The sooner we leave, the more fun things we can do!

We went to the park and started to walk. The atmosphere was so warm and pleasant there. Little kids running and laughing, beautiful couples walking while holding each other's hands. It reminded me of myself and Eleanor. But I couldn't allow myself to think about her. I must stay strong! I won't let her ruin my whole life!

Nancy: Hello? Louis! Are you listening?
Louis: I'm sorry, Nancy. I just got lost in my thoughts.
Nancy: Ah, I see... Wanna talk about it?
Louis: About what?
Nancy: You are still just as sad as yesterday, aren't you?
Louis: No. Can't you see it? I'm smiling! I'm totally happy!
Nancy: You can't fool me with your fake smiles! Your eyes are telling me the truth while you're trying to hide it...
Louis: I'm sorry for yesterday, Nancy...
Nancy: Why are you sorry? You did nothing wrong.
Louis: You stayed there for me, to help me and I yelled at you...
Nancy: It's alright. I'm not upset about it.
Louis: Aren't you disappointed? I mean, you've never seen me like that, have you?
Nancy: Why would I be disappointed? I know and understand pretty well that you were completely broken. Louis, I've never seen so much sadness in your eyes before. I can never be mad at you for yelling at me when you were in a situation like that. I still see the same sadness in your eyes right now. I'll do everything to cheer you up!
Louis: I'm lucky to have someone like you by my side.
Nancy: Of course you are!

She laughed a little bit. To be honest, I never noticed how cute she was while laughing.
I noticed a place where you could buy cotton candies. When I saw it, I remembered that Nancy adored them so I just...

Louis: Wait. Sit under this tree, close your eyes and don't open until I say you to!
Nancy: Hey, what are you up to?
Louis: You'll see. Just do what I said!
Nancy: Haha, okay.

I ran to that place, bought 2 cotton candies and ran back to Nancy. I sat on the grass, in front of her. Luckily her eyes were still closed so she didn't ruin my little surprise.

Louis: Now open your eyes!
Nancy: A COTTON CANDY?! OMG I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
Louis: I know, haha! Let's eat them!
Nancy: Thank you so much, Louis! It's me who's supposed to cheer you up but you are the one making me happy with this little surprise!
Louis: Seeing the people I care about happy, cheers me up.

She smiled at me and we started to eat the cotton candies. We had so much fun in the park.

Nancy: I have a great idea! Let's go shopping!
Louis: YES! I'd absolutely love that!
Nancy: Wow, looks like Louis' shopaholic side is showing off.
Louis: Oh, just shut up and let's get going!

I finally started to laugh and stopped faking my smiles. I didn't need to fake them. They were real now. We went to a mall where were tons of different clothes. Heaven. Yep, I hated to admit but I really loved shopping.

Louis: You know what?
Nancy: What?
Louis: I'm gonna pick clothes for you and you're gonna pick clothes for me. We should wear what we chose for each other whether we like them or not! How is the idea?
Nancy: Not a bad one haha. Let's do this, but if you choose embarrassing clothes for me then I'll make sure to make you regret it!
Louis: Chill girl, no embarrassing clothes allowed, haha!
Nancy: Deal!

NANCY'S POV

I really had no idea what to choose for Louis. I'm the worst at fashion, I can't even choose things for myself and now I have to do it for Louis. God, I hope this ends well. I chose red trousers and a white hoodie and sneakers. I don't have a close idea how they will look in a combination on Louis. I took them and went to search for Louis.
Louis: Have you chosen clothes for me yet?
Nancy: Yes! Here, take them!
Louis: Okay, thank you. Here are the clothes I chose for you. Let's get dressed!

I went to try them on. Louis chose a red leather skirt, platform boots, and a white shirt. I wore them and looked at the mirror. Wow, Louis is really good at fashion. He chose such a beautiful combination of clothes for me. I walked out to see if he was already dressed or not.
He was already dressed and was waiting for me.

Louis: Wow, you look stunning!
Nancy: So do you! Thank you! Did you like the clothes I chose?
Louis: Yes, I look cool!

I checked out Louis once again and noticed that our outfits were matching. Wow, what a coincidence. If a stranger would look at us then thry would probably think that we were a couple.

Eleanor: Oh I see my dear boyfriend isn't wasting his time and already got a singer chick to f#ck!

I turned around and saw Eleanor standing right behind me. Her face turned red from anger.

Louis: Don't call her a singer chick! She is a lovely girl!
Eleanor: Yesterday you broke up with me because of a stupid fling and what are you doing now? Playing dress up with this b! tch? How am I supposed to understand this? God knows how long have you been banging her!
Louis: I DARE YOU TO INSULT HER AGAIN!!!

I was just standing next to Louis, not knowing what to say or do. I was speechless. I didn't know Eleanor was this rude. She called me terrible things...

Eleanor: You are a cheater too, Louis! You're not better than me!
Louis: She is my best friend! Hanging out with her doesn't mean cheating! Oh, and also, even if she was more than a friend, you have no right to demand explanation. I broke up with you, we're no longer connected. Got that?
Eleanor: You two disgust me. I thought you could do better than her, Louis. Bye.

And just like that, she left. She insulted me and I was really offended by that. No one had ever called me things like that so it was painful for me.

Louis: Don't pay attention to her, please. She's not worth it. Come on, smile again!

I tried to smile but I couldn't. I was too upset because of Eleanor.

Louis: Okay, come with me. I know how to cheer you up!
