Chapter 5. "You're A True Friend"

                  LOUIS' POV

Nancy looked really sad after what Eleanor said. I couldn't believe she made Nancy upset. The Eleanor I knew before, was kind and sweet, she would never say anything that would hurt anyone. I guess, now, when we already broke up, she has nothing to lose, that's why she shows her true colours. Anyways, me and Nancy got into my car. I started to drive. I drove in a silence for some minutes.

 

Louis: Nancy, you haven't said a word since we got in the car, are you okay?
Nancy: Yeah.
Louis: Please, don't be sad...
Nancy: I'm fine. I'm just shocked. I mean, Eleanor... I've never seen her being that rude... And... She thought that you cheated on her with me... That made me upset and angry at the same time...
Louis: Let's forget that we met her. Thank you so much, Nancy... If someone else were in your place, I'm sure that they would go mad after being disrespected like that. Thank you that you're still here, with me. You're a true friend.
Nancy: It's nothing. I'd never leave your side because of your ex who's being Regina George.
Louis: Haha, great way to describe her!
Nancy: Anyway, where are we going?
Louis: To the cinema. I know that you like to visit the cinema. We can watch your favorite movie!
Nancy: Awww that's so kind of you! But it's already getting dark outside...
Louis: You agreed to spend your day with me, didn't you? You're not going home until I say you to! We're gonna watch that movie, then buy food and go back to Liam's place!
Nancy: Oh God, you're impossible!
Louis: Haha, I'm nothing you can't handle!

So we went to the cinema, watched the movie, then went to a store and bought food and got back at Liam's. When we entered the house, the boys weren't back yet.

Nancy: The boys aren't here yet, it gives us time to cook something!
Louis: Did you just say "us"? I'm sorry miss, I can't help you with that!
Nancy: You can and you will!

Technically she forced me to cook with her lol. I'm the worst when it comes to cooking. Surprisingly it went pretty well and fun. We already cooked some yummy stuff but the boys weren't back yet. So we just went to the guestroom and waited for them to come home.

Nancy: Louis, I know it's hard for you to talk about this, but... Do you think it'll be too hard to get over Eleanor for you?
Louis: If you would ask me this question in the morning then I'd say yes but now... I don't think so... I mean, I'm really disappointed in her. After she insulted you today... She made me change my feelings for her... I already convinced myself that the Eleanor I loved was dead, and the Eleanor that insulted my best friend today is just a mean b!tch.
Nancy: I'm happy that you're able to control your emotions. I'm so proud of you!
Louis: It's all thanks to you. You were here for me when I was down, you cheered me up !
Nancy: Don't flatter me now! I'm sure that you would do the same for me!

Suddenly we heard a noise. The boys probably came back. We waited in the guestroom until they entered the room.

Louis: Hey lads! How did the rehearsals go without me?
Niall: Pretty boring, actually.
Liam: You say, how was your day?
Louis: We had a perfect day!
Harry: So happy to know that you had fun!
Nancy: Anyways, let's go to the kitchen. Me and Louis have cooked for you!
Zayn: You did? Wow, this is exciting! Let's go and check what they made for us!

We went to the kitchen and ate the food. The boys said it was delicious. When we were done with the food, it was already 23:00.

Harry: The food was amazing! Thank you Nancy, Louis! But it's getting late and I think that we should go home.
Louis: Yep. I'll drive you home Nancy.
Nancy: Thank you!

Me, Nancy and the boys said goodbye to Liam and left his house. Me and Nancy got into my car and we were already on our way to her house.

Louis: Thank you for this unforgettable day.
Nancy: I'm thankful to you as well. I had a great time thanks to you.
Louis: I think that we should hang out more often.
Nancy: Agreed.

We had a short conversation until we already were at Nancy's place. 

Louis: We're already here!
Nancy: Thank you for the ride. Bye! Have a good night!
Louis: Same to you!
                  

                   NANCY'S POV

I entered my house and went straight to my bedroom. I saw my phone lying on my bed. I grabbed it to see 15 missed calls from Emma and Lisa, and 17 missed calls from Tina. Oh Lord, I told Tina in the morning that I was ok, why did they call me this much again? It's not like we had any plans for today and I ditched them. Ugh, I'll just talk to them tomorrow.

               THE NEXT MORNING

I woke up at 9am and dressed up to go to the studio. I was kind of nervous. I haven't met the girls after that crazy night in the club. My relations with Lisa and Emma have been really tense lately. I barely hang out with them. I hang out with Tina only. Unlike Lisa and Emma, Tina is kind and supportive. She's a good friend.
For studio I wore black jeans with a black shirt and put my hair in a messy bun.

       //IN THE STUDIO//

When I entered the room where we record our songs, I saw Tina, Lisa and Emma already there and waiting for me.

 

Emma: Oh, look there girls!
Lisa: Yeah! Someone finally decided to show up!
Emma: Shall we celebrate it? Huh, Tina? What do you say?

Tina said nothing. I could see that she felt bad.

Nancy: No need to talk like that. I had my reasons.
Emma: Oh, really? What reasons?
Lisa: Yeah, what could actually be more important than celebrating your first ever recorded song and spending time with your band friends?
Tina: Girls, don't go too hard on her, please.
Emma: If you can't say something smart then better keep your mouth shut, Tina!
Nancy: Firstly, don't talk to Tina like that! She has nothing to do with this, keep her out of our argument! Secondly, this is my life and I can do whatever the hell I want. Louis is my friend and he needed me. I couldn't leave him alone when he was down!
Emma: Here she goes again... The 1D boys!
Lisa: They're always causing trouble!
Emma: Have you freaking noticed that we fight only because of them?! Are you going to destroy our career because of them?!
Nancy: I never did anything that could destroy our career!
Lisa: I'm so disappointed in you, Nancy. You're not a good friend for us, nor you are a good artist. I have nothing else to say to you.

And just like that, Emma and Lisa left the room. I stood in the room with Tina. Tina looked at me, it felt like she wanted to say something but she couldn't find words. Then, after couple of minutes, she finally spoke.

Tina: Nancy, you know that you are a great friend and artist, don't you?

I didn't respond.

Tina: Come on, you know that they didn't mean what they just said!
Nancy: I understand why are they being rude to me, but why are they talking to you like that?
Tina: It's okay, I don't complain...
Nancy: Whatever, let's just go after them. We have a song to record.
