Nancy's POV
I woke up at 7 o'clock. I barely slept last night. I had a lot of things to think about. The girls haven't called me since the fight in my house. I was really worried about Tina. She is taking everything too hard. I won't forgive myself if her friendship with Emma and Lisa gets destroyed.
I put on my skinny jeans and wore my green hoodie. I wasn't in mood to do my makeup. I went downstairs to have breakfast, it was when I received a call from Tina.
Nancy: Hi, Tina. How are you?
Tina: "Just called you to let you know that we're going to have a rehearsal this evening. Don't miss it in any case. The Awards show is next month, our performance has to be perfect."
Nancy: Yeah, okay, but I wanted to know how were you doing.
Tina: "Bye, Nancy. See you at the rehearsals."
It was weird. Is Tina really that pissed? She wasn't like this last time I saw her. Maybe after she left my house with Emma and Lisa something happened? Oh God, I'm under too much pressure.
I had my breakfast and decided to call Louis.
Nancy: Hi, Louis.
Louis: "Oh, hey there Nancy. I was just about to call you, but you called first."
Nancy: What's up?
Louis: "Just woke up and wanted to call you to ask you out."
Nancy: Ask me out?
Louis: "Yeah... Me and the lads have an interview at the evening and I have nothing else to do before that, so what do you say?"
Nancy: I'm really bored at home alone so why not? When are you going to pick me up?
Louis: "I'll pick you up at 9."
Nancy: Where are you taking me? Just so I know how to dress.
Louis: "I'll take you to the beach. Make sure to look hot."
He let out a small gigle after saying it. It made me laugh as well.
Nancy: I'll sure do. See you soon.
Louis: "See you!"
I was so moody when I woke up, but just a call from Louis made me smile and laugh. He makes me so happy, even tho a small part of me blames not only myself, but also him for making that stupid plan. I
I went to my room to get changed. I put on black shorts and a white crop top, I promised to look hot after all haha. I also wore sandals and went to bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I did a natural makeup. I was thinking to straighten my hair but at the end I decided to leave it just the way it is, messy and curly. I went back to my room to choose a swimsuit. I had many swimsuits since I adore swimming and do it a lot, but today, my eye caught only one of them. The bright red swimsuit. I'd look super hot in that. I bet if Louis would see me in that, he wouldn't be able to look at any other girl at the beach. Wait, what did I just think??? What's wrong with me? Why am I trying so hard to look hot for Louis? He's my best friend. We pretend to date but it's just an act. Why do I want him to look at me and not at other girls at beach? My head is about to explode right now. No! No! No! This isn't right! Get your sh!t together, Nancy! You and Louis aren't happening!
Nancy: Oh my God! I'm talking and fighting with myself! I'm going crazy!
I heard the doorbell ring. I took the red swimsuit in a hurry and thew it in my bag. I took the bag and went to open the door.
There he was. The charming Louis. Every girl would die to go out with him. I'm so lucky. He's my best friend and today he asked me out for the first time. I don't know if this is a real date though. Maybe he's taking me to a friendly date? I guess, I'll never know unless I ask.
Louis: Hey, are you checking me out?
A smirk appeared on his face. His beautiful blue eyes were shining. I don't remember the last time I saw him so happy and full of life. And then I remember what he just asked me. Oh God. Was I looking at him for that long?
Nancy: You wish! Currently, you are the one checking me out!
We both started to laugh.
Louis: You look hot!
Nancy: You told me to, so I did my best haha.
Louis: But you're very beautiful every day, you know? It's just that today you look hotter than usual.
Nancy: Well, you don't look so bad yourself. Thank you!
Louis: Haha, thank you!
Nancy: So, are we going?
Louis: Sure! Let's go!
He opened the door of his car for me, like a true gentleman. I got in and put the seat belt on. It was going to be a long drive, since the beach was far from my house.
Louis: You like beaches, don't you?
Nancy: Yeah, I like them very much.
Louis: Same here!
Nancy: I love swimming.
Louis: I love surfing. Can you surf?
Nancy: Surfing is a cool sport but I can't surf.
Louis: It's alright, love. I'll teach you.
I blushed when he called me "love". I'm not used to be called like that, but I liked when he called me that so much. Am I starting to like him? Oh hell no. I can't fall in love with my best friend.
Louis: Are you blushing, love?
Nancy: Nope. I'm not.
Louis: Yes, you are!
Nancy: No, I'm not!
He smiled at me. He was looking at my face it was making me blush even more. I felt like he was looking through my soul.
Nancy: Don't look at me! Look at the road! If you get us killed, I'll kill you!
Louis: Wow, you are so smart!
Nancy: And don't start with the sarcasm again!
Louis: Sorry, it's just that you look so beautiful, I can't keep my eyes on road when you're right next to me.
I said nothing, instead I felt my cheeks burn. I'm sure that my face was looking like a tomato. I looked down so he wouldn't see my bright red face. Suddenly I felt his soft hand on my hand. It was so warm. I felt butterflies in my stomach for the first time in my life. I think my hands started to shake a little.
Louis: Am I making you nervous?
Nancy: N-n-no, a-a-I m-mean n-not at a-all.
Ew! I totally embarrassed myself! Now he understood that he made me nervous, and I can tell that it made him happy. He had that proud look on his face.
Nancy: How much until we're there?
Louis: About five minutes, love.
Why did he keep calling me that? Oh I know! Because he wanted to make me blush!
The last 5 minutes of the drive went in silence.
We were already there. Louis got out first so he could open the door for me. What a gentleman!
The beach was so nice! The weather was great to surf. Just what Louis needed!
Louis: Let's get changed into our swimsuits and then the fun will officially begin!
