Chapter 36. "...again?"

                           LOUIS' POV

Nancy asked me to have lunch with her and I gladly agreed. I was truly grateful that she was there for me when I needed her the most. I thought she would never forgive me for my mistakes, but it seems like she did.

Me and Nancy went to the first cafe that we saw and got there to have lunch.

Nancy: How are you feeling?
Louis: Better when you're with me.
Nancy: About that...
Louis: Will you forgive me?
Nancy: I already did.
Louis: Do you mean that? Or are you saying it because you're feeling sorry for me since my unborn child just died yesterday?
Nancy: I mean it, Louis. I realised that you're a human and you have every right to make mistakes and learn to be a better person. I see that you regret everything, your eyes never lie.

Her words made my broken heart happy and I felt that I still had a chance with her.

Louis: I want to say something.
Nancy: Okay...?
Louis: Nancy, I love you. I seriously love you so much that it hurts and if you decide that I'm not the right guy for you, then I will stop chasing after you. If you choose another boy to date, then I will support you no matter what. Your happiness is the most important thing for me.
Nancy: And what if I don't want you to stop chasing after me?

Saying that, a large smile appeared on her face and automatically I smiled too.

Louis: Are you saying that...?
Nancy: Yes. I love you too, Louis. I would never choose any other boy over you, because you are the one I want. You are perfect in your own way. No other boy can make me feel butterflies in my stomach like you do, no one can make my heart race like you do. Louis, no one can make me feel the way that you do...

Her words made me so happy that it felt I was dreaming. Then I came back to reality and without thinking any further stood up from my chair and approached Nancy.

She stood up too with a, rather confused look in her eyes. I just looked at her for a second while standing still, then, not being able to control myself, I grabbed her waist and pressed my lips on hers.

I didn't care that we weren't alone in the cafe. I didn't want to stop, neither did she. Nancy ran her hands through my hair and kissed me back.

I had missed her so much... Stopping kissing, we hugged for a few minutes. Then I looked at her and saw that she was quietly crying.

Louis: Why are you crying, love?
Nancy: I'm crying of happiness, Louis. The day when we met Eleanor in the hospital and she said that she was pregnant, I was sure that this day would never come, and I would never be able to hold you and kiss you...
Louis:. Don't cry, baby. I swear, I will never make the same mistake again. I will never let you go. I will always keep you close. I promise to love you 'till the day I die. So, Nancy, will you be my girlfriend...again?
Nancy: Of course I will!

The past few months had been like a hell to me, and now, I finally was happy again. The love of my life finally agreed to become my girlfriend again and I wasn't going to mess this up again.

Louis: By the way, you once said that your father wasn't going to take easy the fact that you've got a boyfriend... Have you told him about the things that happened recently?
Nancy: No, I didn't. My parents think we never broke up.
Louis: Don't they check social media?
Nancy: No, they're anti social media. My mum told dad about you. At first he wasn't that happy, but had been trying to convince me to bring you to my home town so that they can meet you, and I have kinda been avoiding the talk...
Louis: You don't have to anymore. Guess what? Let's prepare for a dinner next week. You will invite your family from Beccles and I will invite my family from Doncaster. It will be a great opportunity for both of our families to get to know each other. Plus, you've only met Lottie and Fizzy from my family!
Nancy: You're a genius, Lou! We will do that for sure! I'm nervous to meet your mum though...
Louis: Haha, not as nervous as I am to meet your father. Don't worry, love. I've told my mum a lot about you and she is looking forward to meeting you! She will love you, I'm sure of that!

We talked everything out and it felt that everything was perfect. I had one more thing to do though.

I was still feeling guilty about the situation with Eleanor and I had to see her one more time and ask for forgivenes for taking advantage of her feelings while I was drunk.

After lunch, I took Nancy home and went to the hospital to see Eleanor. Since she and her parents were leaving today, I didn't have much time left to speak to her.

                      NANCY'S POV

Finally the karma smiled at me and I couldn't be happier. Getting back with Louis was the best thing that could happen to me, because I knew I would never be able to love another boy. He was my one and only love and I wasn't going to give up on him again.

As soon as Louis dropped me home, I took my phone and entered the group chat that was made for me and my girls and decided to invite them over.

Sup, girls! Be at my place by 9pm for sleepover. I've got exciting news for you!

Literally a second after Jade replied.

Say no more, honey. I will bring the pizza. Xx

I was feeling so blessed to have Louis as my perfect boyfriend, and Jade, Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne as my perfect best friends who were more like sisters to me.

After texting the girls I decided to call Eleanor. Even though we hated each other from the very beginning, I now knew that she had changed and had become a better person. I had to apologise for blaming her for things she didn't do.

When I called her, her mother was the one to pick up, but thankfully she agreed to let me speak with Eleanor.

Eleanor: Hello?
Nancy: Hi, Eleanor, it's Nancy.
Eleanor: Oh, hi, Nancy.
Nancy: First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss... I know I'm not a mother and I can never fully understand your pain, but believe me, I never wanted that horrible thing to happen to you.
Eleanor: I do believe you. You're a nice person. You know, Louis was here, in hospital a few minutes ago, and he told me how he felt about this. I actually agree with him. God probably took away my baby to punish both me and Louis for our mistakes. Don't worry about me, Nancy. I will be fine.
Nancy: That's not all, El... I also wanted to apologise for blaming you for stuff you'd never done. I accused you of being a stalker while you were innocent and it was Tina all along...
Eleanor: I understand you, and I'm not offended.
Nancy: So no bad blood between us anymore?
Eleanor: Yes. Let's make peace.
