                         NANCY'S POV

Both police and ambulance arrived in less than 15 minutes. They took Eleanor to hospital and I went with them.

As soon as we got to the hospital, they took her to the surgery and started the operation.

The police came to the hospital too, to ask me some questions. Even though I wasn't mentally able to tell them anything, I tried to get myself together and answer their questions.

Fortunately what I told them and the other evidence was enough for them to arrest Tina. At first they were suspicious of me too, because I said that I had hit Tina with a stone, but later when they heard the rest of the story, they believed that it was a self defense.

As soon as they left me alone, I called Louis and a bit later Perrie. Louis arrived at the hospital after about 20 minutes. I hadn't told him anything, I just told him to come as soon as possible.

Louis: Are you okay, Nancy? I came as fast as I could!
Nancy: I'm fine, Louis. It's Eleanor...
Louis: What about her?
Nancy: She is being operated on right now...

As I told him Eleanor was being operated, his eyes widened.

Louis: What happened to her?
Nancy: It's a long story. So this afternoon I got another message from an unknown number...

And I told him everything. I told him how Tina had planned everything to murder me and Eleanor and how she shot Eleanor right on the stomach to kill her baby...

Louis: I can't believe this... I thought Tina was a nice girl compared to Emma and Lisa, but turns out that she was the worst one of them...
Nancy: Technically, thanks to Eleanor I'm okay right now... Tina shot her first so I had time to fight back... But Eleanor was way too scared, so if Tina would've shot me first, then Eleanor couldn't have defended herself...
Louis: You're so brave, Nancy... That's just another reason why I love you so much.
Nancy: Louis...
Louis: It's okay, don't say anything. I just hope that Eleanor will be okay... Even though her pregnancy was a shock for me, I still love my unborn child.
Nancy: I understand...

After several minutes, Perrie arrived too and I told her everything. She offered to drive me home, but I refused. Eleanor's operation wasn't over yet and I was worried about her.

I told Perrie that I wanted to stay until the operation was over and Perrie agreed to stay too.

The operation lasted more than 3 hours and the doctor that operated her finally came out of the surgery. We approached him at once.

Louis: Doctor, how are Eleanor and my baby?
Doctor: I'm sorry, the baby was already dead when she was taken to the surgery. The bullet killed the baby immediately, but we tried very hard and at least managed to save the girl's life.
Nancy: So Eleanor is okay now?
Doctor: Yes.

Me and Perrie asked another couple of questions to the doctor, meanwhile Louis got pale and sat on the floor. Seeing that I sat next to him and tried to comfort him.

Nancy: I'm so sorry for your loss, Louis, but there's no need to lose your hope. You're very young, you can still become a father.
Louis: As much as my unborn baby's death is painful for me, I have to agree with you... But it's still hard for me... I only found out that I was going to become a dad 2 months ago, and now my baby is gone... But on the other hand, maybe God wanted this to happen?
Nancy: I don't know...
Louis: Maybe God knew how complicated my life was, maybe He saw how many mistakes I had made and decided to take my child's life... Or maybe He did it because he knew that me and Eleanor wouldn't be able to raise the baby right, because I didn't love her and I wouldn't be able to live under one roof with her for the rest of my life.
Nancy: Don't overthink stuff, Louis.
Louis: You're probably right...

Then Perrie finished speaking with the doctor and walked toward us.

Perrie: Louis, you have to call Eleanor's parents. She needs someone to take care of her when she is here.
Louis: Right, I will call them right now.
Perrie: Oh, and, Louis... I'm sorry for your baby...
Louis: It's okay... This was meant to happen...

Louis called Eleanor's parents and they told that they're going to take the first flight to London, so they would be here by the morning.

Perrie drove me home as Louis stayed at the hospital until Eleanor's parents' arrival.

The next day I went to the hospital again to check on Eleanor and see Louis. He looked so pale and thin. He probably didn't eat anything since yesterday...

Nancy: Hi, Louis...

As I greeted him, he suddenly stood up from  the chair and ran towards me to hug me. I won't lie, I missed that feeling so much. His hugs have always been so warm and tight and this one wasn't an expectation. He was holding me so tight, as if he hasn't seen me for years. Then he spoke without breaking the hug.

Louis: Nancy! You came!
Nancy: Of course I did. I couldn't leave you alone at this hard moment.

Then he finally let go of me and looked at me with a cute, not so large smile on his face.

Louis: You still care about me...
Nancy: I never stopped caring about you and I never will. You are so important to me, Louis.
Louis: Your presence makes everything better.
Nancy: Thank you... Are Eleanor's parents here?
Louis: Yes, they arrived an hour ago. They're with Eleanor now. Nancy... They blame ME for everything...
Nancy: Don't listen to them. None of this is your fault. Tina was the one who did this to her, not you.
Louis: Thank you for taking my side...
Nancy: Anytime.
Louis: They're taking Eleanor to LA with them today.
Nancy: Today?! But she is still too weak!
Louis: They're weird people. They don't trust anyone here. But anyway, I stayed here because Eleanor was alone. Now that her parents are here, I think we can leave.
Nancy: Yes. Let's go and have a lunch together. You're looking so hungry.
Louis: Haha, do I?
Nancy: Of course you do. Let's go.
