Going Home

Soon, the brothers let go of each other. Mikey looked at himself, then looked to his brothers with tear-filled eyes. He whimpered.

"What's wrong, buddy?" Leo asked. Once again, Mikey looked at his new form. "Oh," Leo said. "Mikey, it doesn't matter what you look like. You're still our brother." Mikey looked at him and gave a small smile. He stood up on two feet. It was silent for a minute. Then, Donnie spoke up.

"Oh my gosh!" All eyes turned to him. He had a gigantic grin in his face. "We have to tell Master Splinter about Mikey!" The brother gasped and grinned. "Yes!" Raph pumped his fist and turned to Mikey. "I can't wait to have you back home, little brother. It's been to quiet without you." Mikey smiled at him. Then, he walked over to the nearest manhole cover and crossed his arms playfully. The brothers chuckled. "Well, let's go home, then!" Leo announced. They walked over to the hole and jumped down one by one. Mikey was the last one to get in. But before he did, he smiled to himself. "Home," he whispered. Then, he jumped down to join his brothers. All seemed well. But the brothers had no idea of what was to come.........
