His breath is hot against my face. He is so close. I've dreamt with this moment since the day I've met him. No, I can't do this. He is my friend, I need him to be my friend. He is the only reason I'm alive. God, he has a girlfriend. Stop, Natalie, stop. Get out of here, quickly.

I give some distance between us and he looks down. "I should go to the next class..." I say quietly, nearly whispering. I don't think he has heard me because he doesn't seem to make any movements to move from between my thighs. I don't want him to move but I kind of need him like a friend, more than any other thing. "Sorry." I say. The word seems to hit him in the face and he looks at me, confused. What the heck am I supposed to do.

He helps me get off the sink. "I'm here for you. When ever you need me, I'm here Nat. You know that, don't you?"

"I don't even know if I'm here for myself."

"After school, we'll meet at the parking"

"I don't think that's a good-"

"Don't argue, you know that I always win" His hand reaches for my face and he moves his thumb on my cheek."I will never leave you." With those words my heart melts and I can't resist myself from hugging him like I've ever done. His arms tightens around my waist.

"What do you have next?" I ask trying to change subject. I think he have maths?

"Maths, but you knew it already." We both laugh so hard that my stomach hurts. "And you have art next." He caughts me off guard. What? He knows my timetable?

"Don't you have to take Dana to her piano class after school?" I say seriously. I really don't want to ruin her life or even his. He is too important for me. I wouldn't resist seeing him heartbroken.

"I can tell her to take a taxi. I haven't spent time with you since I start with Danna... So yeah, we could go and eat something maybe?" How can I say no to my best friend.

"Only if she doesn't mind." I say it, and mean it.

"I don't think she will give a fuck about it."

"Don't talk like that."

"How? Dirty language?" He teases me. I just love his smile. "You know you like it."

"Oh my god. Stop it, now. You should go to class."

"And leave you here alone?"

Yes....?"

"No, of course I'm not doing that." This is getting weird... But I kind of like it.

"So what do you want to do?" I ask, the enthusiasm in my voice is clear.

"We could... Hum... We could go ice skating?" Oh god. I'm too clumsy for that.

"I'm... Hum... That's not... I think that..." Come on Natalie, think about an excuse for not going and leaving yourself in ridiculous in front of the only person that is important for you.

"It's going to be fun, come on! We need to spent time together... Please?"

"Okay..." Fuck Natalie! You need to be fucking kidding me! Just shut up...

When we get outside it's freezing and the storm hasn't stop. I'm only wearing a t-shirt and Alex seems to notice that I'm freezing.

"Here. Put it on." He puts his jacket over my t-shirt. We both look at each other and he gives me a beautiful smile. When we get to his car he opens the passenger door for me, then he enters in the conductor seat. He puts the heat of the car to the maximum capacity so the car heats up quickly.

I'm staring out the window, everything is white. I love winter, it's just lovely to see how the snow can spread out so quickly everywhere.

"How much time is there left to get there?" I ask.

"Thirty minutes." He smiles. Being here in the car with him is like old times. We are in the last year of the senior school but he repeated a year, that's why he is one of the phew people that have a car.

My eyelids are getting heavier and sleep is consuming me. I have thirty minutes to have a nap. Why not? I lean my head against the window and close my eyes. I feel his warm hand on my thigh and with that I fell sleep, with the feeling that he will be there when I open my eyes.

Remember that he has a girlfriend. He is just a friend, a really good friend...
