"If I fall, I'll kill you." I joke, as I try to concentrate on not tripping. He has his hands over my eyes so I can't see anything, which is quite ironic because it is pitch black. I can feel some grass under my Converse and hear the wind blow. He will never hear me say this but, this is the best thing that could have happened to me on my birthday. Just the fact that he didn't forget about me is incredible. His chest is against my back and my hands are on top of his. The bottoms of his black coat rubbing against my sweater.
"I don't think so." He laughs. Suddenly, he stops and my smile fades away. I haven't thought it twice. What will happen if he wants to kill me? What if he is serial killer?
"Is it now the part in which you stab me or something like that?" I ask. I think he has realise how tense I am. I don't even know why.
"Not at all, cutie." I could feel him smirking against my hair.
"That's not my name." I huff, frustrated by the fact that he will not stop calling me that stupid nickname.
"Keep your eyes closed, okay?" I simply nod and let my arms fall to my sides. His hands loosens from my face and I close my eyes, just as he has told me. I'm taken back when his hands make contact with my elbows. I nearly open my eyes. His hands start to make their way down my arms and I really want to meet his green eyes. I want to look at him and read his thoughts, I want to know what he is thinking about. As his hands slowly caress my arms, I feel peace. I dot know why I feel this way when Harry is near me. It is just so weird. "Calm down." He whispers into my ear.His hot breath hitting me directly, sending chills down my spine. As his hands meet my hips, I try not to flinch. His right hand reaches for my hair and pulls it back. "Open your eyes."
This is all a dream.
"What? How?" I don't even know what to say. "Why?" Is the word I'm looking for.
"Happy birthday, Natalie." He whispers in my ear. We are in a mountain, in some kind of cliff. Every light in Dublin is visible, every single one. No one has done anything like this before, for me. This is surreal. I gaze into space. As if all of this was a fairy tale. He is just inches apart from me. I have so many questions but, what I have in front of me is just increadible. I close my eyes and concentrate on Harry's thumbs drawing circles on my hips. I have this voice in the back of my mind that keeps saying to run away but, my feet won't move. So far, he is doing it right. I open my eyes slowly and admire the outstanding view, which I know I will never see again. The hole city is in front of me. It seems so small, yet so big. I keep saying to myself that this is all a dream.
"Harry?" I ask.
"Hmm?" He mumbles as he rests his head in my elbow.
"Is this real?" I say in disbelief.
"Yes." He slowly responds me. I turn around, our faces nearly touching. His green eyes burning through mine. He wants something. I move from my place and sit down on the grass. "What's wrong?"
"Why?" I directly ask. I need answers.
"Why what?" He furrows his eyebrows, but I know he is just playing with me.
"Why do you act like you care about me? Why do you bring me here?" He was about to say something when he closes his mouth. "Spit." I rush. I'm done with his games. A lot of girls have end up really bad in school. Harry would say a lot of shit about them and ruin their socials life to a point were they just wouldn't go to school. I've heard that one girl nearly committed suicide and right now, I'm here with this bad guy, trying to hear answers that will never arrive. I'm scared because I can't see where the 'bad' guy is, the guy that everyone is horrified with.
