Kongpob POV

Who were brights men? Had they anything to do with how he and the apartment looked at this moment? Once he had closed the door I just stood their silent, looking around me trying to get what had happened here. I had seen many things but this looked liked someone had gone through the room in pure rage trying to destroy anything he could get into his hand. Shards of glass were laying in the floor, pieces of plates, ripped clothes, torn books, it was a wonder that the furniture seemed to have survived the hurricane that had flow through this room. When I turned around to look at the presumed cause of this destruction I was just in time to see him collapse to the floor. Oh bother, what should I do now, if there was one thing I didn't know anything about it was first aid. Whenever I could I would skip those classes. I shook his shoulder but he didn't respond, luckily his breath and heartbeat seemed normal, so I lifted him over my should to putting in bed. Gosh, he is as light and thin as a feather doesn't he eat or something. What happened to him that caused his and this apartments current state. Did somebody break into his apartment while he was home. Whatever the cause, there were other, more important matters.

After I laid him on the bed he began to shake, mumbling words and putting his hands in front of him, I tried to hear what he was mumbling, Please stop, NNNOOO! Please don't. He was having a nightmare. Arthit, calm down, everything is fine now. After some time and a lot of friendly words he slowly calmed down slipping into a deep sleep.

When he was sleeping soundly I stood up to clean up the apartment. If there was one thing I couldn't stand it was this disorderly mess that manifested itself in front of me. It wasn't an easy job to do but I had time to spare and at the same time I could try to get any clues on what happened around here. I usually wasn't very curious about other people's affairs but this was something of a whole different caliber. Judging from his face he had been beaten up terribly and no way that I would let such a thing go. Beating up a person is one thing, beating up a blind person was the lowest thing I could ever imagine. Once I finished cleaning up I had several bags filled with garbage standing at the door. There had been shards of glass, pieces of broken plates, ripped t-shirts, a broken light and a whole host of destroyed ship models and souvenirs. But I had found no clue at all, even ordering the papers on the desk had given me no information whatsoever.  That was until I entered the bathroom, what I saw there gave my some icy shivers down my spine. A huge pile of sleeping medicine and a glass of water, now it finally all made sense to me. He must have been in some kind of serious trouble and got so desperate that he wanted to end it rigorously, until I interfered in his plan when knocking on the door. But what in the world could drive a person so desperate that he wanted to commit suicide and how could I deal with it, could I help him? Would he even want any help? I felt a deep pity in my heart. No Kongpob you mustn't pity him. He has no use for all your pity and compassion, you will only make him feel worse than he already does. And so the conflict inside my went on and on.

when I had finally finished all the cleaning I sat down on the couch to so that I could think and put everything in my head in order. what seemed clear to me was that he a) had been beaten up b) was truly desperate for a way out and c) likely caused the mess in the apartment himself in a fit of rage, as his hands were full of cuts and chafe wounds on the inside of his palms. But whatever caused it there must be a way to help him. It was a personal conviction of me that there was a solution to every problem and a way out of every form of trouble. Sometimes however solutions might be difficult to realize or accept but there always was a way.

Arthit POV

When I woke up I felt a massive headache hammering through my head. I tried to remember what had happened but only loose scenes passed my mind, pills, someone knocking on the door, my fit of rage, my roommate, gran.... Wait ROOMMATE??? As soon as I realized who I let in yesterday I panicked, what if he saw the stuff in the bathroom, what would he think of me. Then I realized it wouldn't matter much, my face would have told an equally disconcerting story to him when I opened the door for him. yeah he sure has left by now. I got out of bed putting my pyjama's and went to the bathroom to clean up my face and brush my teeth after which I slowly stumbled towards the kitchen I suddenly smelled something, It smelled good and familiar. Pancakes! but that meant, He hadn't left! Somehow I felt relieved, at least there was someone now I could talk who would actually reply (I hoped) instead of talking to the walls

Good morning, would you like some pancakes? See I was right, my nose never betrays me. Morning, fine. I wonder what he thinks of me right now? So how must I call you, P, P'Arthit or something else? Good question indeed, he is younger but not much, Call me P'Arthit, but what's your name I have forgotten. It's Kongpob. So Kongpob, what exactly do you know about me? What would he say now, I was anxious for his answer, praying he didn't realize what happened in the bathroom when he knocked on my door. Well you're visually impa...Just call it blind, go on...Blind it is then, you have been beaten up, tried to get into a permanent form of sleep and collapsed yesterday after letting me in. So he knows, what next, what should I do, teel him? No, I don't know whether I can trust him or not. First I need to know who he is. So what do you study exactly? Financial Law. Heck, that's the most expensive study of the whole university. You study Classical European music don't you? How do you know? I heard you playing in the auditorium, I didn't know it was you by then but when I yesterday knocked on your door and you didn't open you were playing exactly the same piece as in the auditorium. Wait, he was at my door yesterday? How could I have missed him knocking. If we had met than all would have gone so much differently. Do you like the music I play? It's not what I usually listens but it is very impressive to listen to. Now that's great because I usually play the organ around 3 hours a day both study and creative.

And like that we went on the rest of the morning, introducing our self talking about our hobbies, studies etc. I could have given him the cold treatment as I usually do with people but he is my roommate with whom I likely have to share this space for a year or 3 so being on good footing might be useful. Aside of that he seemed a truly nice person, bit outspoken and direct but still friendly.

Kongpob POV

when I woke up I went to the kitchen looking for something to make breakfast with when my eyes felt on a pack of mix for pancakes. I had eaten those things only once but often seen how they were made in the restaurant I had worked and as there seemed to by nothing else I was really familiar with I decided to make some which actually went pretty good. When he came into the kitchen with a clean face I was stunned, he looked good, very good to be honest with a fair skin and shining black hair. I couldn't have guessed that this person had been underneath the layer of blood and dirt I saw yesterday. Anyway he seemed like a nice person, a bit reserved and shy maybe but a good heart. But even though we had a talk I conscientiously avoided the elephant in the room. The massive question mark in my head thus remained as large as it had ever been and I didn't knew if I would ever be able to get the answers to all the questions spinning around me.

Not the greatest chapter, but I didn't just want to skip an month further without describing their first interactions and thoughts on the other.
