It had taken a massive effort to pick a suitable moment for this meeting. My parents were terribly busy and were away from home for around 280 weeks in a year. I was fed up with them, they clearly didn't have much appetite for a meeting with me. I didn't tell them what I wanted to say I had just told them I wanted to pay a visit with a close friend of mine. They had agreed and we had picked today. So here I was standing before the mirror doing my hair, washing my teeth and cleaning my glasses before turning my attention to Arthit. I took some clothes for him before taking him to the bathroom to get his hair in order. It wasn't that he wasn't able to do it himself but I liked doing it for him and in this case I didn't want to leave anything to chance.

We would take the private jet of the company, a custom made Boeing 747-500X. It was fitted as a luxery private plane with several offices, a meeting room, a kitchen, several bedrooms, storage, top of the bill equipment. It was fitted with anything you can imagine, movie room, bowling alley, you name it. The top deck was reserved for use by the company CEO and chairman or anybody permitted by them. Since Arthit was the son of the CEO and most likely the incoming chairman he didn't have much difficulty in claiming the jet for this trip. He had a short chat with the crew before taking me along up the stairs to the upper floor.

Unless we call them or in the event of an emergency staff is not allowed up here when the plane is flying or we are present.

Though he had lived a good life with his grandma his parents must have enjoyed extreme wealth, and his father still does. He had told me about the family fortune once explaining how for the past 3 generations it had been created until becoming what it was today, a sprawling business empire ruled by a Rojnapat. Until his grandmother became chairman the majority share had always been split between two people who were husband and wife but since Arthit's mom and grandfather had died their shares had gone to grandma because Arthit's father thought he wasn't capable of leading the company. So grandma took the shares and his father became CEO upholding the rule of two tradition the family had upheld al this time. When grandma had transferred her shares to him this tradition had been written out of her will. As long as the shares would remain in the family he was free to do with the shares whatever he wanted. But he was not allowed to split them between more than 3 people. He had told me he would likely become the companies chairman but what he would do with his shares was something we hadn't talked about. What we had talked about was a potential merger of the 2 companies into a giant conglomerate under the mother company Rojnapat and Suthilak Inc.

I shook my head to drive away all these thoughts, more pressing matters were at hand. My P' was clinging to me because we were experiencing turbulence when The phone rang, he gave me this fearful look. Must I carry you to the phone?

Rojnapat speaking, I see, fine, keep me posted.

We'll arrive a but later because they have to go around a major storm.

Arthit Pov

Though I had flown several times I hated this turbulence which was only worsened by the fact that I couldn't see anything. Once I had been hit by a bottle of perfume that came down leading me to have this disgusting smell lingering around me for the whole day. Another time I had flown through the cabin when the plane had suddenly plunged down several meters. Since then I had been afraid of turbulence.

The two of us were nervous and if I was honest I might be even more nervous than him. Though I knew I shouldn't think like this and I also know he doesn't think like this I still regard myself as the cause of this trouble. He has told me tens of times that I am worth much more than his parents yet if their relation totally derails I am the cause of it. Really Arthit? He choose to go and tell them and by doing so he accepted the consequencea. Did he do so halfheartedly? No, so what, the love the two of you share is more important to him than his biological parents who, to him, are only in name his parents. Forgot what he told you about his new year's eves when he just was alone, watching the fireworks with tears in his eyes because there was nobody with him? Or his last Christmas when he didn't do anything related to it because there was no-one he could celebrate with? He has finally gotten someone he loves and who loves him and wants to do anything to be together. It is not something you caused it is something he wants because he wants to be with you. True, so don't give me this patheticness cause in this situation there is absolutely no need to be like that. You're right.

On the way to his parents home the two of us were getting increasingly nervous, they didn't know anything yet. For them Kongpob just came to pay a visit, a formality that had to be done some times a year. I wondered how their reaction would be, I pitied Kongpob a bit regarding his parents. I didn't have to really tell anybody I was in love with a boy because they themselves already had observed it before I even knew it myself. I hadn't really been troubled with having to tell people and since I didn't really have any friends I never had the trouble of telling them either, in that aspect I had a much easier job. I just hoped for him and us that his parents would be as understanding as my grandma had been and my father had become.

Every inch we got closer to my parent's home I got more nervous, how would they react? The clouds above our relationship was getting darker and darker each second, as if a massive storm was gathering, would we be able to weather it?

When we stood in front of the door, Oon, whatever happens, we belong together, to me you are important they are not, whether they don't give their blessing or not I am not gonna let us be separated, please stay with me and don't give up on me, I won't Sim, never will I abandon you.

I rang the doorbell waiting anxiously,

Charactertalk
Arthit: oh oh I feel serious trouble coming

Kongpob: yep so do I but I haven't seen the script for the next chapter so I am not completely sure about what will happen,

Arthit: I pray he won't separate us

Kongpob: we'll have to see, the script was sealed and he didn't say a word when I went to his office,

Arthit: pretty much a black box he is,

Kongpob: no that is a description not very fitting for him, he is on one hand a black box but on the other a pandora's one, his opinion and remarks usually touch the core of certain problems but also unleash unwanted truths,

Arthit: he certainly does, it is why this story isn't just a fluffy, idealistic, super sweet fairy tale,

Kongpob: but he will give us a happy ending, he told me so multiple times

Arthit: how are you even capable of talking with him? You talk to a mask unknowing of what is beneath,

Kongpob: true but still I can talk with him,

Arthit: so then why the happy ending

Kongpob: if it ends bad his heart will break apart,
