Brittany's POV
We have been in Omaha for only a day but I already love it. I just got settled into my house and finished setting up my room. Even though I had to leave me old friends behind, England was starting to become boring for me.
"Hey honey I brought you some lunch." my mom said walking into my room with a tray
"I like your new room. It is really you." she said sitting down on the bed next to me
"Thanks I was going for that." I said laughing while eating my sandwhich and fruit
"Don't be sassy. Any plans for today?" she asked
"Mallory is coming over in a little bit and taking me out." I said taking a sip of my water
"That's fun. I'm glad you two are good friends." she said brushing a piece of hair out of my face
"Me too." I said
"Mallory where did you get these?" I asked laughing. We are riding motor scooters around the neighborhood.
"I stole them from my little brother. He won't notice he is too busy playing some video game." she said laughing too
"Gosh it is so pretty here." I said looking around
"Your accent is so thick. I wish I had one." she said pouting as we pulled into her driveway
"I can teach you don't worry." I said winking at her
"So I was thinking that you, me, and Marie could go out tonight." she said handing me a soda
"Yeah sounds good. Where are we going?" I asked following her upstairs to her room
"Well I thought we could go out to eat at Applebee's and than our friend Mack is having people over. You can meet almost everybody tonight." she said
We talked for a while. I helped her pick out an outfit and watched tv as she curled her hair and put on some more makeup.
"Ok lets go get you ready." she said following me to my house
I have ambre hair. I got it done last year and I am obsessed with it. I quickly straightened my hair and applied foundation, eyeshadow, and mascara. I wear makeup but I don't like to paint my face with it. I threw on light colored denim shorts, black high top sneakers, a grey cropped top that says Don't Go With The Flow across it in black, and a black beanie.
"Ready to go." I said coming out of the bathroom
"Wow you look hot. Alright cool Marie is waiting outside." she said. I called goodbye to my parents and walked outside.
"Hey Marie." I said climbing into the back
"Hey Britt. I'm starving I don't know about you guys." Marie said as she drove
"Marie when are you not hungry?" Mallory asked laughing
"Shut up you know what I mean." Marie said turning up the radio. It was Great Escape by Boys Like Girls and I started singing along to it.
"Well arn't you guys going to join me?" I asked them. They laughed and we had a full out jam session until we got to the restaurant.
"That was my first time eating at a Applebee's and I loved it." I said climbing back into the car
"Well good. We will go there some more over the summer." Marie said smiling
"So Mack is a year younger than us but he plays on the basketball team so we are good friends with him." Marie explained
"Ok got it." I said nodding my head
"And he is dating Regan who is also a year younger but she is a total sweetheart." Marie said right when we pulled into a driveway
"I am a little bit nervous guys." I said as we got out of the car
"Don't worry. They are going to love you." Mallory said grabbing my hand and pulling me inside. The house was very nice inside. Mallory led me out to the backyard where everybody was.
"Hey guys. This is Brittany Smith she is new here so be nice." Mallory said smiling over at me
"Hey." I said waving
"Woah are you from England? That is so cool." a brown haired girl said to me
"Yeah I'm from London." I replied
"I'm Emily Glazer. And this is Emily Ford and Laine Swift." she said introducing me to two blonde girls who are really pretty
"Hi nice to meet you." I said. I made small talk with them for a while. Than I got introduced to Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky, Brock Nemecek, Mike Kiger, Mack Greder, Regan Johnson, Justin Schrager, John Swift, and Nate Maloley.
Everybody so far was really nice and I was enjoying myself. I herd the back door open and close and I turned around to see who it was. This guy was tall, had spikey black hair, and these gorgeous brown eyes that you can get lost in.
