Brittany's POV
"How do you guys get so tan? I just burn?" Sam asked us girls. We are currently at the lake just laying on the boat soaking up some sun.
"I don't tan either. I'm pretty sure I am whiter than casper the ghost." Marie said cracking up making me laugh too
Sam just shrugged and jumped in the water with the rest of his friends.
"This is the perfect day. Great weather, great friends." Mallory said taking a picture of all of us tanning
"I agree but I am sweating right now." I said sitting up and taking my hair down
"Lets go in the water than!" Chelsea said grabbing my hand as we jumped into the water
I grabbed a float and Mallory hopped on too and we swam over to where the guys were. We all just stayed in the water for a couple hours just splashing around and having a good time.
We hopped back on the boat and Jack drove it back to shore. We all said our goodbyes and hopped back into our cars.
"Can we stop and get ice cream on the way home?" I asked Sam
"Yeah please Sammy?"Mallory asked from the back
"Fine fine. But I will only pay for Britt not you Mal." he said looking at her
"Wow such a gentleman." she said sarcastically

"Sam chocolate is way better than vaniella." I said getting back into the car after getting ice cream
"Not uh Vaniella is way better. Choclate has such a rich taste to it." Sam argued back
"Duh thats why it is the better ice cream." I said as he began to drive
"I am never coming on a date with you guys again. You argue about the stupidest stuff." Mallory said chuckling from the back
We dropped Mallory off at her house and it was still pretty early.
"I'm bored." I said looking over at him
"I found these old rollerblades at my house yesterday we could do that." he suggested
"I've never been rollerblading before." I said smiling
"Well don't worry I will teach you." he said
After we got all suited up Sam showed me how it was done. I tried doing it by myself but I ended up falling on my butt multiple times.
"Here hold on to both of my hands and we will skate together." he told me. I grabbed on to his hands and we skated together. It started to rain and Sam just pulled me into the middle of the street and we skated together. We were soaked but we didn't care because we were havign fun together. He leaned in and kissed me and when we broke the kiss we were smiling like idits at eachother.
"I always wanted to have a kiss in the rain." I said smiling
"Well now you got it." he said nuzzling my nose with his
"You guys are so freaking cute!" his sister Emily shouted while taking multiple pictures of us
Even though I woke up with a cold the next day it was still the best night ever.
