Peter's apartment was small, but homey. Isabella looked around and smiled a little, wishing she could have this. Have a normal house, not that living with Tony was bad, it just made her feel awkward sometimes.
"It's not much, but hey, it's home." Peter said closing the door behind her. Isabella smiled back at him.
"It's homey, like a home should be." She responded.
"I like her already." A female voice said from the kitchen making Peter laugh and his face to turn a soft shade of pink.
"Mayyy." Peter groaned as he walked to the kitchen.
Isabella followed and smiled at the person who was currently sitting at the kitchen table reading a book.
"You must be Bella. I'm Peter's Aunt. You can just call me May." The woman said standing up and shaking Isabella's hand.
"So you're the famous Aunt May?" Isabella asked and shook her hand. "Peter has told me many things about you." She added making May look in his direction.
"Well I hope it's all good things." May said making Peter laugh.
"How could be any bad thing? You're the best." Peter said grabbing his backpack from the table. "We have to go work on Spanish though...come on Bella." Peter added and Isabella nodded before turning back to May.
"It's nice to meet you." Isabella said before following Peter to his room.
"Keep the door open!" May called causing both Isabella's face and Peter's face to turn a little pink.
When Isabella walked into Peter's room she found him trying to clean up a small space on his bed for them to sit.
"Sorry it's kind of a mess. Ned came over last night to build a lego death star and it kind of fell and exploded and we had to find all the pieces and I haven't had time to clean all of it up yet." Peter rambled causing Isabella to laugh a little before sitting on a small section of floor that did not have clothes on it.
"It's okay, I like sitting on the floor anyway." Isabella said and Peter looked at her and nodded a little before sitting down next to her and gathering his homework from his backpack.
"So why have you been rubbing your chest all day? Someone hit you?" Isabella asked as she got her Spanish homework out. She looked at him as he struggled to come up with an excuse.
"I um, I ran into someone with a book in their arm and the corner hit me in the chest." Peter explaining and if Isabella wasn't working at the moment she would've laughed so hard. She thought he could come up with a better excuse than that.
"Why do you rub your upper arm all the time?" Peter asked causing Isabella to freeze for a minute.
"I um, it's a tick that I do when I'm nervous or stressed about something. I didn't think it was that noticeable." Isabelle said fighting the urge to do it right then. She would rub the burns on her arm because any pressure on them would hurt a little, so whenever she was uncomfortable, she would rub her arms, putting a little pressure on the burns.
Peter nodded a little before opening his Spanish book and then his notebook. "Okay, well let's start on Spanish." He said, obviously believing there was something more to the story that she told him but didn't want to push it.
After completing the Spanish homework with some difficulty, Isabella decided to work on some of her art homework as Peter worked on his math homework.
"I didn't know you could draw." Peter said as he looked up from his long math problem.
"A friend taught me a few years back and I've loved it ever since." Isabella explained, actually not lying this time. Steve had taught her how to draw and they would sometimes just sit, draw, and joke around. That was one thing she missed about having the entire team together. She missed a lot of things about having the whole team in the compound or tower.
