The Aftermath

The next day at school Isabella and Peter were part of the background once again. The entire school was talking about what happened and if Liz knew what was going on. Rumors were flying everywhere and only Isabella and Peter knew the truth. Well Ned knew too.

Ned wouldn't stop asking questions about the night before.

"How'd you know it was Liz's dad? What happened on the beach? How hurt were you? Do you heal like Deadpool? Bella, what can you do? Do you have powers? Junior Avengers? Do you know Tony Stark?" Ned wouldn't stop, but finally Isabella held up and hand. The questions stopped and Peter looked at her.

"He heard his voice and put the puzzle pieces together. What happened on the beach is going to stay between us, it's just a lot to handle. He was very hurt but he's recovering. I know Deadpool but Peter does not, he's pretty funny. Kind of rude but that's just his humor. And yes, I know Tony Stark, he's a good person but does some stupid stuff sometimes. Kind of like Peter." Isabella explained and Ned just looked at her.

Peter smiled and looked around at the school, no one knew either of them were on the beach but yet, he was famous. It was surreal and he didn't really know what to do.

"Earth to Peter, what are you thinking about?" Isabella asked as she waved a hand in front of his face.

Peter snapped back to reality and looked at her. "What'd I miss?" He asked and Isabella laughed and kissed his cheek, causing his cheeks to turn a little pink.

"Wait, are you two together?" Ned asked and they both nodded, causing Ned to make a noise no person should possibly make. "This is so exciting!" Ned practically yelled, turning some attention towards them.

"Keep it down Ned, we're not superheros or anything." Isabella joked and winked at Peter.

The three of them laughed as they started to make their way to their first classes.

"So what are your powers?" Ned asked and Isabella looked at Peter before looking back at Ned.

"I'm an assassin. Long story short my parents were assholes and trained me like this since I was a child. Tony found me and took me in to be apart of a junior avengers." Isabella explained and Ned just nodded. "I'm not going to hurt you or anything." She added and Ned nodded again.

"I know, that's just a pretty shitty childhood." Ned said and Peter reached down to squeeze Isabella's hand and she smiled gratefully at him.

"Yeah, it was pretty shitty but I got to know Tony and Peter and Steve and so many other amazing people." Isabella explained as the three of them became silent as they reached her first class.

"I'll catch up to you Ned, you go ahead." Peter said to Ned as he turned toward Isabella.

Ned waved bye to Isabella as he walked towards his first class. Peter looked at Isabella and sighed a little.

"It feels weird right?" Peter asked and Isabella nodded a little, not saying anything. "Just know I'm here Bella, okay?" He asked and she nodded again, this time with a small smile on her face.

"So am I Parker. I know this is weird but it'll become normal soon. I had to do this for years before you, before Tony. It's sad that'll become normal but it will." Isabella whispered and Peter kissed her forehead gently. "I'm here for you if you need anything, and I mean anything." She added making Peter raise an eyebrow. She laughed and playfully slapped his arm. "Not anything, but mostly anything." She added, making her face turn red.

"I know, I was just joking, now I have to get to class." Peter said and Isabella nodded.

"I'll see you in Spanish." Isabella said before turning and walking into her classroom and sitting next to Michelle.

"So, I see you and Peter are finally a thing." Michelle said and Isabella laughed a little before nodding.

"Yep, we are a couple." Isabella confirmed making Michelle actually hug her a little. "Wait, you never hug people." She said in confusion.

"Well I hug my friends." Michelle defended, making Isabella smile more. She had finally achieved an almost normal life.

After school Isabella sat next to Peter at the decathlon meeting. They announced the new captain to be Michelle and everyone cheered.

"Uh, my friends call me MJ." Michelle said and they all looked at her.

"I thought you didn't have any friends." Ned asked and Michelle shrugged.

"I didn't." Michelle responded causing Isabella to smile.

Peter's phone buzzed and Isabella and him looked at it. Happy wanted to see him in the bathroom. Seconds later Isabella's phone buzzed, Happy wanted Isabella to go to the car that was waiting outside.

"Uh, we have to go." Peter said as he started to move out of his chair.

"Where are you going Peter?" Michelle asked, making both of them stop in their tracks. "What are you hiding?" She added and Isabella looked from Peter to Michelle. "Nah I'm just kidding, go ahead." She said as she waved them away.

They both breathed a sigh of relief as they walked out of the library. "Do you want me to wait for you outside the bathroom?" Isabella asked and Peter shook his head.

"No, don't worry about it. It's just Happy, I'll be okay." Peter said and paused. "I should be okay right?" He asked and Isabella laughed a little.

"Yes, you should be okay. If Tony was in there that would be a different story." Isabella said and kissed his cheek before walking outside and to the car.

It took a little bit for Happy and Peter to get back to the car. Peter climbed in with a smile and pulled Isabella close, kissing her.

Isabella giggled against Peter's lips as she pulled away from him, but stayed close. "What was that for?" She asked.

"Because Mr. Stark wants to talk to us upstate. Like in the compound." Peter said with a wide smile.

Isabella's eyes widened a little bit but didn't let her excitement overtake her, she's been let down before. "It might not be what you think it is Parker." Isabella said as the car started moving.

"Yeah, but what if it is?" Peter asked and held Isabella close as they drove up to the compound.

The only sounds in the car were giggling and whispers from Isabella and Peter.

So there's only one chapter left! Right now there is no sequel but that might change once I see Endgame.
