Third Person POV

Rey had been following Luke Skywalker around a small island for days. No matter how many times she tried to talk to him, he either ignored her or kept running from her. Any conversation the two had was loud and mean, leaving both of them angery and more determined.

Rey sat in a small hut on the island, she could feel the pain her sister was going through and it was getting the best of her. She sat there tears creeping their way down her cheeks. She had no idea how the First Order had managed to get Lynn but Rey felt responsible. She knew what kind of man Kylo Ren was and through their brief encounters she knew that there was still good in him, she just hoped that the good she saw was on Lynn's side.
She didn't want to loose her sister, she couldn't loose her sister. She hoped that if she could explain the situation to Luke that he'd understand and come to their aid. Rey was determined to make Luke see things her way, determined to save her sister and the Resistance.
•••••••
Lynn sat on the hard floor trying to meditate. She knew that if she could stay calm and focus her energy on escaping this place she'd be able to make it through whatever they had planned for her.
She refused to believe what Kylo Ren had said to her, she would prove him wrong and destroy the First Order.

She had completely lost track of time, she did not know how long she had been on this ship or in this room. For all she knew, it could have been months since she had been captured. Lynn had no idea how long the First Order would wait for her to make her choice, they did not seem like the patient type to her.

The door to the room Lynn was in opened and Kylo Ren entered, the door closing and locking behind him. Lynn clenched her jaw as he walked further into the room, standing before her, he squatted down so that they were eye level.

"Happy to see me, are we?" He taunted.

"Save your breath." Lynn shot back, looking at the floor.

"Everything that I have to say will not be wasted, whether you choose to hear it or not is entirely up to you."

"It will be wasted, I've already told you my choice." She glared at him.

"So you would rather die then see your sister again?" Her expression changed instantly, her eyes grew wide.

"Leave her out of this."

"I'm afraid she's just as much a part of this as you are. Think of it Lynn, you can save your sister and yourself all of this heart ache."

"The darkness would separate us, it-" Kylo didn't let Lynn finish.

"No it wouldn't, your sister feels the pull, just the same as you. If anything it would only bring you closer together! You think the First Order is evil just because they do not see things the same as you but they aren't. The people under us have families, loved ones that they fight for, same as the Resistance. Those who use the dark side of the force are not all bad, just better at not letting it consume them as others."

"But it can still consume them, the light side of the force has no consequences."

"That's not true, look at your precious Luke Skywalker, it drove him mad. Drove him to abandon the people who need him most, that seems like a consequence to me." Kylo stood and began to pace around the small room.

"That's one example and not a very good one at that but there are so many more of those who were consumed by the darkness." Lynn countered.

"It all depends on the heart of the one who uses the force, dark or light, use the force Lynn, look into my mind and see if my intentions are unpure." He stopped pacing and stood before her arms stretched wide.

"I don't know how." She said quietly.

"I'll teach you, just close your eyes...breathe and focus on me." She looked at him unsure of trustworthy he was. "Common, its alright." He encouraged her.

She reluctantly complied, closing her eyes and focusing on Kylo. It took a few moments before she was suddenly filled with a warmth she had never experienced before. She saw Kylo when he was young, Han and Leia called him 'Ben'. She saw that he was sent to a Jedi camp that was run by Luke Skywalker himself. The warmth suddenly started to fade as she watched Luke try to kill Kylo. She then watched in horror at what he went through till this point. The warmth returned when she saw him looking at herself through his eyes.
She broke the connection then, they were both breathing heavily, tears running down Lynn's face but Kylo's had a stone cold expression.

"I am not a monster, nor an evil man. I know you saw that, Lynn with your help I can purge the First Order of the corruption and transform the galaxy into one where everyone can live in peace and happiness, don't you want that?" She nodded slightly in response.
"Don't you want to live without worry of if your going to survive? Without worry of whether or not your going to see Rey again? Lynn, you don't have to live in her shadow anymore." He extended his hand out to her, a kind smile on his face. She couldn't deny that what he said was true and she longed to feel that warmth again.

She looked up at him with conflict in her eyes, her mind and body unsure of what to do. Her heart and mind where telling her to take his hand but there was a slight feeling deep down that told her to wait. She looked into his dark brown eyes, that feeling of warmth beginning to creep up again and in that moment she knew what she had to do. Lynn thought of how proud Rey would be, maybe not at first but she'd come to understand that Lynn was doing this for them, for the galaxy. She thought back to what she had felt before seeing Kylo and she decided to push it aside. "Screw it." She thought.

Lynn reached up and grabbed Kylo's gloved hand. A large smile spread across his face as he helped her to her feet. He could only imagine what the two of them could accomplish together, not only that but how pleased the Supreme Leader would be with him.
He began to escort Lynn to Snoke's meeting room, he could see how nervous she was but he knew that in a few moments all of that would fade and then he could focus on the second half of his mission, getting Luke Skywalker.
•••••••
Kylo and Lynn stood before Snoke, Kylo stood proud while Lyn stood there scared out of her mind. Saying yes to Han Solo's son was one thing, saying yes to the Supreme Leader of the First Order was another.

"I trust a decision has been made." Snoke snarled a the two.

"Yes, it has Supreme Leader." Kylo responded with authority.

"Very well." He motioned for Lynn to speak. She looked nervously between Snoke and Kylo, Kylo gave her a small nod signaling to her that it was alright.

"I choose...the dark side, the First Order." Lynn said loudly and confidentiality. Snoke sat there a moment just staring at her before bursting out into laughter causing Lynn to jump.

"Haha! I knew you'd come around, dear child you have made a wise decision indeed! We will start training tomorrow and I shall have a new apprentice!" He shouted happily.

"Supreme Leader if I may interject, with your permission I would like to take Lynn on as my apprentice." Kylo said quickly, never really making eye contact with the creature. Lynn stood there in shock, why would he want to take on this responsibility when he already had so much on his plate.

"Mmhhhh." The creature hummed loudly, "Very well, but do not neglect your current mission. If I see this interfering with our deadlines than it will end quicker than it began." He said in a grave tone. He motioned to them that this conversation was done and the two quickly left.

"Follow me." Kylo said to Lynn as soon as they exited the room.

"Where are we going?" She questioned.

"To your chambers, unless you'd prefer the holding cell?" He asked in a taunting manner.

"No."

"Then let's go, training starts early and you'll need your rest."
