Third Person POV

Lynn awoke with a sudden pain in her chest, one that she had never felt before. She gasped at its sudden presence and she could feel the engery around her build up once again. She unexpectedly fell to the floor, not sure if she had somehow managed to undo her restraints or if someone else had let her out. It didn't matter to her in that moment, however. She grasped at her chest, she didn't know what was wrong but she needed help. The pain was so intense that she couldn't call out. Lynn managed to roll onto her back staring up at the bright lights and domed ceiling, she closed her eyes momentarily and when she opened them Supreme Leader Snoke was right before her.

"Do you know what this is, child?" He said as he walked around her, she could only gasp in response.

"Its just a taste of what you'd go through if you did not accept my offer." He snarled. The pain quickly receded and Lynn caught her breath. "I hope this helps in your decision making."

"W-why do...do you want me-" Lynn was cut off by Snoke, he grabbed her by the throat, her feet not able to touch the ground.

"You can't even begin to comprehend the power within you, we've only scratched the surface....and if we can't have you, then no one will." He released her causing her to fall to the ground once more.

She placed a hand on her throat, tracing the soon to be bruised skin. Her breath was shaky and her anger began to rise once more. She watched with gritted teeth as the creature left the room, knowing it'd be foolish to take him on all on her own and in her current state.

Kylo walked in then, slowing his pace once he saw Lynn on the floor. He removed his helmet, setting it down on the small table. He looked down at her, Lynn refusing to look up and meet his gaze.

"Can you stand or do you need assistance?" His voice was low and quiet. She was expecting him to have more of a gloating manner about him but to her surprise that was not the case.

"I can get up on my own." She responded, her voice came out slightly threatening though she did not mean it to.
It took her a moment but she managed to stand, she was tired, her body and mind in constant turmoil, she didn't know how much more she would be able to withstand but she was determined to fight until it there was no more fight left to give.

"So what now? Am I going back in that God forsaken chair so you can torture me some more? Or are we going to try something new?" She asked mockingly.

"I want to show you something." There was something different about his tone and in his eyes. Lynn couldn't place it but it didn't seem threatening to her.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Let's just say it'd be easier for everyone if you came with me willingly."

Lynn sighed and nodded, she pushed her long hair behind her ears and began to follow her captor. She was surprised that no guards were accompanying them. Unfortunately she was too weak to make any attempt to get away.
He led her to a part of the ship that seemed to be empty, she hadn't seen any storm troopers or crew members in a couple moments and she began to dread what this could mean. Kylo unlocked a door and motioned for Lynn to go inside, she hesitantly complied.

"What is this?" Lynn asked standing in a small empty room.

"This is where you will be staying, until you make your decision. In the mean time however, I'm going to show you the good in the dark side." Kylo said as he closed the door behind him.

"There is no good in evil." She countered.

"The dark side is not evil, but it can corrupt the mind if you let it." He said take a few steps towards her.

"And how can you be sure that your mind hasn't been corrupted?"

"Because I can still feel. I'm not a monster as many would like you to believe, I'm only doing what I see is fit to change the galaxy for the better."

"And that includes killing innocent people?"

"Its not something that I enjoy but if its necessary than yes and I wouldn't exactly call them 'innocent'." He said with a shrug.

"Was killing Han Solo necessary?" She asked, staring daggers at him. He tensed up, his expression once again unreadable.

"It...was to complete my mission." He said staring off, it was if he was trying to convince himself rather than Lynn.

"You're a mad man." Lynn whispered, tears falling down her face. She backed away from Kylo Ren, not being able to handle looking at the monster than killed her friend.
Kylo rushed forward, grabbing Lynn by the shoulders he pushed her into the hard metallic wall.

"What's the matter Lynn? Did you really believe that he would take you as his own? Hm? Your real parents abandoned you and so would he! Sooner or later he would have left you just the same. You were so blinded by your need for a parental figure that when you saw him you latched onto him. He would have disappointed you just like he did me." The more he went on the softer his tone became, the more he lessened his grip.

"No, you're wrong." Lynn said through her tears.

"Don't deny it Lynn, you knew it'd happen, you just didn't want to believe it...I was just like you." He said softly.

"You don't know me." She said angirly.

"Yes, I do. You've tried so hard to keep me out of that pretty little head of yours but you can't block me out entirely when your unconscious." Lynn shoved him away from her and headed for the door, disappointed when she found that it was locked.

"You might as well kill me now cause after this little discussion there's no way I'd join you." She glared at him.

"Growing up you've always felt second best to Rey, no matter how hard you'd try she was always better. More loved, more celebrated, favorited...she gets to go out on all these adventures while you're left behind to do menial tasks." He began.

"You don't know what you're talking about."

"You have this uncontrollable rage within you and you have no idea where it comes from and your afraid that it means something is wrong with you." He continued, taking a step towards Lynn as he did.

"Stop it." Lynn commanded.

"You think so little of yourself that you throw yourself in the face of danger when possible, not caring what happens to you, yet you fear that the Resistance will not come to your rescue."

"Shut up!" Lynn yelled, trying to cover her ears.

"Finally you're afraid that the dark side is where you truly belong, you've always felt the pull, heard it calling your name ever since you were young and now that you've been told how powerful you have yet to become, you don't know whether this will make you a monster or the tipping point for which side wins this war." He was right before her now, looking down at her as she cried.

"Its not true." She whispered. Kylo gently removed her hands from her ears and held them in his own.

"Lynn, you don't have to do this on your own...I can help you, teach you the ways of the Force. Help me reshape the universe for the better." He said quietly. His dark eyes looked at her with pitty.

"Please, just leave me alone." She removed her hands from Kylo's and walked over to a corner of the empty room. Sliding down the metallic wall she sat on the floor and continued to cry.

"I'm not giving up, Lynn. You and I are more alike than you think...we need each other and in time, I know you'll see things my way." Kylo turned and left the room with those last words, locking Lynn in an empty room, left to her thoughts and his haunting words.
