Alright, yes, another story, yes, a series. Mostly just a series of supernaturally fluffy stories. Meaning one or two of the main characters are bound to be anything supernatural. And they are going to fall in love and give us butterflies and heart eyes and bring squeals of joy to all us beautifully hopeless romantic people.
I started this out of frustration. I just wanted to read a good book about love, where they only complications that existed was the fact that they couldn't decides if it was too early to confess their feelings or not.
I wanted to see wolves, vampires,witches/warlocks/casters etc, in normal situations. Being house husband's and falling in love with their gardener or their husband's best friends or business partners. You know and because I couldn't find plots with those specifics, I started this series.
Each book can be read alone!! You don't have to go in any specific order! Unless I link a few, which, still, you don't need to go in any order. That's why I won't state it its book one or two etc.
If you were expecting explosions and end of the world type things or evolutionary people or anything that dramatic. Go read the Caster's series or anything else.
Only cute children and smexy men loving up on smexy men and cuddles and kisses and sappy I love you confessions.
So, enjoy! Because I sure did.

Taylor Finks
I sat across from him feeling slightly on edge. The scowl on his face was definitely the source of my discomfort. My wolf whined and howled in my mind for our mate, feeling the distance between us too large to consider normal. It had me cracking a smile. My wolf could be so needy.
"What are you smiling about?" My mate asked me, forcing me to raise my head up in surprise. His bright green eyes and ginger hair stood out on his tanned skin. I blushed and shook my head.
"Nothing." The table was nicely set, the people around us living in their own little world's had smiles and laughs, while we were awkward and silent. This was not how I had imagined meeting my mate to be honest.
I had always thought it would be fairy tale like. The fixed stare as we recognized what we were to one another, the soft touches as we spent the time after meeting talking about the small things, trying to get to know one another. Instead, I had received the wide eyed, shocked gaze and then the scowl and silence.
"Well, I think we should talk now." He mumbled scratching his neck. We had long since ordered and I guess he thought the order would have arrived before we said a word to one another.
"Okay," I offered softly. He seemed on edge and I didn't want to add onto his already existing stress by raising my voice in anyway.
"First of all, Taylor, I am not happy." He laid his hand on the table, I stared at the large and veined thing with a smile.
"I can see that."
"And you are?" He blanched and folded his arms over his chest. I looked at his pout, I had a feeling my mate had a childish streak.
"Well, I hadn't expected you of all people," I began to fiddle with my brown curled hair. Pulling it gently with a blush. "You are very handsome by the way." He blinked at me while I managed a small smile. I was genuinely happy in this moment, really, I had no objections with our future union now that I knew it would be him I would be saying I do to.
"You're gay?" I chuckled and gave a nod.
"You're not." I stated and he sighed.
"This whole thing is so stupid." I chuckled and then our food arrived. I knew he was referring to the fact that both our families had arranged our marriage. In this day and age, it was almost uncommon. With both our families being business partners and friends, they had wanted to bring themselves closer by making their first born children marry. The news had been given to me when I was 20, about four years ago. They had apologized to me as they knew that being a wolf meant that I had a mate and therefore placing me in this situation was absolutely ridiculous.
The four years I spent searching as they said that they wouldn't pressure me into anything, they said that if I did find the person meant for me, they wouldn't push the marriage on me, they would talk to the Gibsons. I knew since the man I'm meant to spent the rest of my life with, was the same man they arranged to have marry me, I was not backing out of this, not even by a long shot.
"I don't think I can do this," he whispered staring at his plate. "You're gay...I'm not... I don't even think I'm ready to settle down." He looked down right defeated and I frowned. I finished chewing my stake and put my fork and knife down. My hands in my lap I took a deep breath.
"I'm not going to force you into anything." I began and he looked up at me. I held his gaze. "I was hoping we would use this time to get to know one another...hopefully become friends." I swallowed. "I know we are probably being forced into this but...I don't want it to be a miserable affair, for either of us."
"What are you saying?" He furrowed his brows in such a cute way, no was feeling myself fall in love with the look alone.
"I'm saying...how about we be friends?" I felt a pang in my chest as I said the words and tried for a small smile. "We don't have to hate one another, or change for this to work." I blinked. "We can come up with a list of rules too, if you like. On what to do and what not to do."
"Your willing to make this marriage all about business?"
"It's business that got us here...I guess business will guarantee we don't want to kill one another by the time we are 30." He laughed softly and the sound was like music to my ears.
"Okay...so...friends?" He held out his hand and I took it. The sparks were instant and by the flicker of confusion, I knew he felt them.
"Best friends." I chuckled.
Then, we ate normally and we talked about the little things. I could tell he was comfortable now knowing I was on his side, seeing that I was open to compromise and that nothing he didn't want to happen between us would happen.
I think I died a little inside, but I ignored it. At least this way, I had him close by. My mate would be by my side even if I couldn't express my love to him or give him pups. I could still smile knowing that he would wake up to see me in the morning, we would have breakfast together and dinner. We would be the best of friends while to everyone we made sure to make them believe that he and I were husband's happily.
Afterward we had ice cream and he drafted out some of the things we could and couldn't do. I made sure he knew that to the public, our parents and friends, we would have to at least hold hands and stand close, not always but occasionally to which he had pouted so cutely I wanted to bite his cheeks. We drafted out some other things and he walked me to my car.
I smiled and bid him goodnight. He smiled and waved as I backed out of the parking lot and into the open road. I sighed to myself. My mate was so sweet, such a gentleman, if only he figured out that he really was gay.
Now, to tell my parents that the wedding was definitely happening.
