Chapter 10: New friend

-Lauren's P.O.V.-

I woke up feeling better. I didn't want to have a bad day like yesterday. I decided to keep my head up.

"Good morning Meg-!!" She wasn't here.

I saw a note on the tv.

Good morning beautiful. You're probably are looking for me. Me and Nash are out on a date, feel free to explore around LA and take your mind off things. I will be back soon. Text me if anything. -Nutmeg:)

I smiled knowing that Nash and Megan are on a date together. I just wished I had someone special in my life.

-Arriving at the lobby-

Should I take Starbucks or Mcdonalds?

I got both. Once I got my Vanilla bean grande and my pancake meal, I tried to find an area to sit. I sat down, it was quiet without Megan.

"Excuse me Miss? Is this spot taken?" A boy asked me.

I looked up from my phone and saw a very attractive looking boy. He had brown hair and green eyes.

"Umm no." I replied giving him a smile.

"Well I am Myles and I just moved here." he replied smiling back.

"Oh well nice meeting you, I am Lauren and I live in San Diego." I reply back.

"Aww that sucks, I was hoping you lived here. I need a friend." Myles said giving me a wink.

I was wishing that I lived here too. Lol.

"Here is my number, we can keep in touch." I handed him my number.

"Thanks, yes I hope we will. Do you have any plans for today? Lets hang out." Myles said.

"Umm I have no plans, I would love to hang out with you!" I exclaimed.

"Great lets go!" Myles said grabbing my hand. We left our food on the table.

-Myles P.O.V.-

I saw this really pretty girl sitting down alone. She was wearing a black crop top and a denim skater skirt. She had her hair down. She was also wearing converse. I made the first move.

Before you know it we had a full conversation. Her name was Lauren. Sadly she doesn't live in LA. She lives in San Diego.

Luckily she wanted to hang out.

"Great lets go!" I said grabbing her hand. I didn't want to let go.

Myles grabbed hand.

"Great lets go!" Myles said grabbing my hand. He was extremely warm and his hands were soft.

"Uh Myles can we go to the mall?" I asked Myles.

"Sure thing Princess." Myles said back.

He gives me butterflies in my stomach.
