Chapter 11: Urgent!

-Lauren's P.O.V.-

After a full day hanging out with Myles I received a text message from Megan.

-Phone convo.-

Megan: Hey girl, your mom wants you back home! It's something urgent! Come back to the hotel. We are going to leave.

Lauren: Oh my gosh! What happened? I am leaving the mall right now. On my way!

Megan: Okay hurry ASAP!

Lauren: Okay!

I was so anxious to know why my mom needed me. I noticed my mom texted me. I didn't know until now because I was busy messing around with Myles.

-Phone convo-

Mom: Hey sweetie! We need you home, me and your father have something important to tell you.

Lauren: Yeah, I am on my way mom.

I told Myles about the emergency. He understood and drove me back to the hotel. Myles was such a sweet guy.

Once I finish saying bye to Nash, I turned to Myles.

"Bye sweetie, nice meeting you." I said to Myles.

"Bye, text me when you arrive in San Diego. We will keep in touch. I'm so glad I met you!" Myles said.

"Okay I will. Thanks for today." I say giving him a hug. He hugged back.

During the car trip I explained Myles to Megan. After I was done, she explained about her day with Nash. They made a cute couple..

"Lauren we are home." Megan said.

I woke up and looked at the clock in the car, it was 7:36.

I noticed there was some cars around me in our driveway. We lived in a gated area. I wondered if my mom threw a party.

I took out my phone an texted Myles that I was home.

"Okay I am heading off Lauren." Megan said.

"Okay thanks for everything." I replied to Megan. I grabbed my suitcase and knocked on the door.

Shortly after, my mom opens the door.

"Sweetie, I am so glad to see you! Come and sit!" my mom said, gesturing for me to sit. I ended up sitting on a chair in the living room.

There was people all around us. I was so confused.

"Lauren, we have something to tell you." my father said. Surprisingly he was home.

A guy walked in the living room joining the others. I stood there in shock. He was the least person I wanted to see.
