Chapter 33: Why?

-Lauren's P.O.V.-

I woke up to the sound of beeping. I had needles and wires injected all over my body. I am so confused. What happened?

"Good morning sweetie." Someone said rubbing my hand. Cameron? I glance over and it was Myles.

"Hey what happened?" I asked him.

"Sweetie, you fainted 3 days ago. I have been so worried about you. I am glad you are okay." Myles said placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Really I have been gone for that long? How did I get here?" I asked.

"Cameron and Crystal brought you here. They managed to contact me." Myles said.

"Oh." I sigh and look out the window.

For a few minutes, I thought to myself. Where's Cameron? How come he is not here supporting me? How come?.. tears slipped away from my face.

"Lauren what's wrong." Myles asked me wiping away my tears.

"Nothing.." I brushed his hand off.

Myles looked a little hurt.

"Sorry Myles." I said to him.

"Yeah it's okay. I am going to go now." Myles said getting up from his chair.

"No Myles! Please stay..." I whispered.

"I'm sorry I have to go. I will be back." Myles said looking down.

Great. I lost my friend. I sighed.

Once he left, I got a call from my mom.

Mom: Hey sweetie.

Lauren: Hey..

Mom: How are you? Are you still in the hospital?

Lauren: Yeah I am and I am doing okay.

Mom: I was told that a boy named Myles stayed all night and day with you for 3 days.

Lauren: Really? Did Cameron visit me?

Mom: Yeah once.

Lauren: Oh.. okay bye mom.

Mom: Okay bye. Call me when your released.

Lauren: Ok.

I hung up. Tears rolling from my face. How could I be so rude to Myles? I regret what I just did. More tears rolled from my face.

"Hey Lauren!" Crystal yelled coming in holding Cameron's hand.

I smiled and waved.

"Uh what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Crystal rushed over to my bedside.

"It's Nothing. That's how it always was." I replied. I looked over at Cameron and he had a blank expression. There was no smile or no frown.

"It's okay. I brought you this!" Crystal said.

I looked over and it was a shirt that had all the Magcon boys. They signed 'Get well soon'.

So sweet.

"Crystal let's go." Cameron said holding Crystal.

"No. I need to talk to you Cameron." I snapped.

Cameron let Crystal go. He gestured Crystal to leave. Once she left I said something.

"What happened to us? Why are you so upset with me? Why Crystal? Why?.." I cried out.

"Lauren, I was mad at you for getting funky with Justin. I soon realized that I needed to move on from you because I don't love you anymore." Cameron said teary eyed.

"When you were mad, you came home with a new girl! How come we couldn't work things out?! Why don't you love me as much as I love you!?" I screamed. My Pulse checker started to beep. (Lol don't know what it's called)

"I need to move on from you." Cameron said walking out.

I cried and cried. I hurt so much. I always do.
