Chapter 44: Christmas surprises

-Lauren's P.O.V.-

"Lauren, will you be my girlfriend?" Cameron asked. He pulled out a small heart shaped box.

I gasped at the lovely sight.

Cameron opened the box and revealed a beautiful diamond ring.

"It's a promise ring." Cameron said.

"I promise to love you more than ever. I promise to be your friend. I promise to be there for you. Last but not least, I promise that you are something to me." Cameron said.

"I love it. Thanks Cameron your so sweet. And of course I will be your girl." I replied. I jumped on to Cameron giving him a kiss.

"Finally. My wish came true." Cameron chuckled.

"You had a wish?" I asked.

Cameron nodded and laughed.
I gave him a slight punch and handed my gift over to him.

Without a second thought, Cameron tore it open.

"Aww. How sweet. I love these shoes!" Cameron said. He did a little happy dance.

"There's more.." I trailed off. Cameron quickly resumed opening his gift.
Soon, Cameron pulled out the sweater of us. He looked so happy.

"Lauren, I love this so much! Thanks babe. Your so so sweet." Cameron said. he placed his soft lips on mine, once again.

"No problem." I laughed.
The sudden thought of Crystals revenge filled my brain, destroying my happy thoughts. Will Cameron actually keep his promises or will he just crawl back to Jessica?

I sighed and looked at my embellished gown.

"What's wrong babe?" Cameron asked.

"Nothing." I replied.

"Sweetie, I know something's wrong.." Cameron replied. He pulled my chin to look at my eyes.

I suddenly had the urge to ask him a question.

"Do you still like Jessica?" I asked.
Cameron looked shocked with my question but quickly shook his head no.

"Course not babe." Cameron replied.

"Why?" Cameron asked again.

"I was just wondering..." I trailed off.

"Oh okay.." Cameron awkwardly replied.

"Thanks guys for coming! Enjoy your meal and Merry Christmas!" Matt screamed into the mic.
Right now there was tables set everywhere and we were having dinner.

Our whole entire group shared a table.
The girls were all eating and all the boys were messing around with the food.

"Hey Cam, when do you leave to shoot your movie?" Nash asked out of no where.
(WHO WATCHED EXPELLED?! I KNOW THE MOVIES OUT BUT PRETEND ITS NOT YET.)

Cameron is in a movie? I felt a tad bit hurt he didn't tell me.

"Uh this week." Cameron replied. He stared at me awkwardly. I gave a smile.

"Cameron how come you didn't let me know?" I asked.

"Uh- well- I -uh." Cameron stuttered.

"Uh, I actually don't know." Cameron replied rubbing the back of his neck. At least he was honest.

"Oh. Well what's it called?" I asked.

"Expelled." Cameron smiled.

"Baby that's great. I am so happy for you." I smiled. I walked to Cameron and gave him a hug.

"Thanks Lauren." Cameron blushed.

"Well, where are you filming it?" I asked. (I actually don't know where, but let's just say in LA.)

"In LA." Nash happily singed.

I chuckled. Too bad our arranged marriage is off, otherwise I would get to see Cam in LA. I dreaded going back to San Diego.

"Yeah.. And Cameron gets to be in a movie with a pretty hot girl." Hayes replied.

I stood in shock.

"I am dating Lauren now, Hayes.." Cam whispered into Hayes ear. Hayes was clearly unaware that we were dating now.

"Oops, sorry bro." Hayes blushed with embarrassment.

Then we stayed in awkward silence until Cam coughed.

"Er- Don't think about too much. Don't worry, she is already dating a boy." Cameron said.

"Haha don't worry. I am not jealous."
I replied laughing a little. I lightly punched Cameron's arm. He gave a small chuckle and resumed eating.

During the whole gala we all danced, met new people, and ate. It was really fun.

"Did you want to go back to the Hotel?" Cameron asked.

"Sure." I replied. I glanced at my phone.
It was only 11:30 pm.

We said goodbye to the boys and left to get a taxi.

"I had an amazing time tonight." I blushed.

Cameron smirked.

"I know how to make it better." Cameron replied, sending shivers down my spine. His hand trailed to my thigh, going up and down.
