Romano's POV
Why? Why did he have to do that? He regrets it doesn't he? You saw the look on his face he thinks you're revolting. No maybe he doesn't regret it, he wouldn't have done that otherwise..
Don't be stupid Lovino.
----
He ran, not stopping until he was out of breath and he felt light headed, he didn't know where he was and frankly he didn't care either. He just wanted the pain to stop, for his own mind to stop attacking him."Hey? You okay zhere...?" a voice asked as Romano's legs finally gave in and he slumped against a wall.
Looking up from his state of misery Romano's eyes met with a pair of blood red eyes, they were unsettling at first, intimidating even, but at the same time Romano felt comfort in those dark mysterious eyes of the pale stranger in front of him.
"Hello?....Romano Right?" Gilbert asked, reaching out a hand to help him up.
His voice was scratchy and almost irritatingly full of pity yet somehow he seemed so concerened for the sobbing boy at the corner of the street.
Romano nodded and reached out to the outstretched hand offered to him, The snow around them fell slowly and gracefully in perfect sequence, a few stray snow flakes landing on Romano's head.
"...Im fine..." he responded, hesitant at first, "who are you...?" he asked, his mind too busy swirling with thoughts to register where he had seen him before.
With a grin the pale man laughed and spoke, "Awesome, I am Gilbert, we attend the same high school ja-? If you weren't in such a state it'd be embarrassing to NOT know who I am".
Romano took note of his overwhelming ego and prideful manner, he certainly wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer but who knows what could have happend if he hadn't come across Romano when when he did.
"I'm Romano, Romano Vargas."
The man nodded, he still hadnt let go of Romano's hand.
"You're freezing, c'mon zhere's a cafe down the street from here," Gilbert grinned once more, leading the small Italian before taking off his coat and pushing it in Romano's direction, "put it on...you'll get seek..." he added in his thick German accent almost making Romano chuckle.
He took it gratefully, his slippers were soggy from the snow and he couldn't help but move with a noticeable shiver. The coat was rather large on him but hell, was it warm.
Suddenly Romano felt himself being scooped up bridal style by the tall German man.
"You can't just walk out into town with a pair of bunny slippers in the snow expecting to be invincible -"
"I...I was in a hurry, it's none of your business anyways now put me down-!"

Gilberts POV:
Of all people to run into on my way home it just had to be him.
I knew damn well he was the guy Toni had feelings for...so, what the hell vas he doing out in the snow vith nozing to keep him varm? Hell not even a proper pair of shoes. Antonio would never have willingly let him go out out like this.
"So...vhat are you doing out here in this part of town by yourself?"
I watched Romano as he let loose all of his bottled up emotions, breaking down in the sat across from me. He told me everyzhing. I could feel mein nails digging into the palm of my hands, this didn't feel right.
After he finished his rant he layed his head down on the table with a deep sigh. He vhas exhausted...there vas no way he could go home like this...and what of Antonio-?
"Look...I...I know you probably don't want to go home right now, we have a spare room, temporary of course but until things smooth over..." Gilbert averted his eyes, he wasn't used to reaching out to others like this, he wasn't exactly the best guy to go to for support.
I looked to the small Italian across from me who had tears welling up in his dark green eyes again.
"Si...thank you Gilbert...you... you won't tell anyone back at school right about this night...right?"
"Ja, if that is what you wish I won't peep a word".

3rd POV, On Antonios side of town:"What?" Feliciano whispered softly, "Do you mean you don't know where he is-?"
"I dont know...I thought it was best for him that way-"
"No! You didn't think at all and now my fratello is out there in the cold and sick-!" Feli stomped his foot in frustration before turning and gripping Ludwig's arm for support, holding him so tightly that his knuckles turned white as he spoke, "You need to leave." He said softly, Ludwig pulled away from his boyfriend to hand Toni his coat, an unreadable expression on his face as he walked Antonio to the door.
Antonio shakily buttoned his coat, guilt tugging at him intensely as he silently walked out into the cold night.
