I walk towards the steps and stop, waiting to hear my name. My heart was beating out of my chest, I couldn't stop shaking, but I was excited.

"Tyler Joseph!"

I suddenly heard a group of people cheer loudly for me as I walk across the stage with a big smile on my face and grab my diploma.
I thought it was just Josh here?
After the ceremony I walked out of the auditorium and tackled Josh.

"I'm finally done!" I squeal.

"I know! I'm so proud of you baby, really. You deserve it." He gives me a peck on the lips.
A group of guys stood behind him and I looked at Josh confusingly.

"Who are these guys?"

"Well I kind of thought your family wouldn't come, and I wouldn't want you to feel lonely or embarrassed if you just had one person cheer for you. So I brought some friends, don't worry though, they're just leaving."
His smile makes me happy. So happy.

We get home and lay down on his bed. He turns on a movie, grabs some snacks, and takes a fuzzy blanket out of the dryer. He's so kind. We watch the movie for the rest of the night as we fell asleep in each other's arms.

If this is what the future holds...

...I wouldn't mind staying around a little bit longer.
