Ichinose said he will be out on a short trip and Mr. Compress was out to meet Giran. Dabi was trusted to take care of the church and keep Michiyo company. Ichinose needed a trip because curiosity got the best of him and he went to check up on how A was doing with no food or water. The mistake of him going down there was seeing A trying to go for a number two but ended up pushing blood out instead. Michiyo's diamonds will not shatter like glass if she was close to the diamonds she had conjured. For the sake of hurting A, the girl stayed at the church to indirectly torture the man. The priest felt so sick that he had to take a holiday at a hot spring resort. Ichinose would never blame Michiyo, but that didn't mean he wouldn't feel sick at the methods.
Dabi was also trusted not to do anything to Michiyo while the other two men were absent, but Dabi have no intention of keeping his promise. Dabi never really cared about others around him ever since he walked on the path that was different from majority of this super power society. However, this young girl managed to make him look at her and only her. Within the darkness of the world of villains, he found a flower blooming just for him...and he wanted it so bad.
"You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?" After he had a shower, he came out in just a dark pair of pants and a towel hanging over his shoulders. He couldn't be bothered with a top. Dabi's eyes were not looking at her because it was glued to the screen of the TV.
"Why? Do you need something?"
"You know what I want from you."
"Nope, you're alright. I want the cocoa to myself."
"I'm not talking about that."
Michiyo was wearing a fluffy bath gown, drinking cocoa, sitting on the best spot on the sofa, and watching an animal documentary. She looked so chill, chill enough to ignore the growing fire within the man with the patches. "And were you paying attention to the documentary? I didn't know honey badgers were that fearless. That'd be an amazing Quirk."
"I didn't know you like animals."
"What is there not to like about them? Animals only hurt one another for food and survival...they're a thousand times better than people."
He thought about what she just said and he wholeheartedly agree with her; humans...as intelligent as they were, they were selfish at the same time, capable of creating a society as well as destroy it with war if they saw the benefit outweighing the consequences. For the sake of corruption and self-interest, they could kill off those who were kindhearted and leave behind cold hearts. Many of them will speak of love with an angelic mask that hid away a demonic heart. Humans thrived in both greed and hypocrisy. Dabi and Michiyo were both hurt by the superpower society, something they had no control over. However, what if Dabi could change his world as well as her world? If the people who had hurt them changed their world for the worst, Dabi could forcefully create a world for himself to be happy.
"If I burn everyone in the world and it's only us two left, would you be lonely?" If he had the power, he will cremate everything so it's just the two of them. He'd be happy with just her, he didn't need anyone else...but was she the same?
Michiyo passed half of her drink to him, "Rather than feeling lonely, wouldn't that make me the happiest girl in the world?"
Dabi stared at her for a good few seconds before taking the mug from her and drank from it. "It's sweet."
"Are you talking about what I said or the drink?"
He set the mug onto the tea table and he moved closer to her. They were now both looking into one another's eyes.
