Michiyo shook her head. She took three steps back away from Kirishima. "I can't promise you anything."

"Michiyo!"

"I've only came here to give you your memories. Please don't appear in front of me during the day time from now on, Kirishima."

He took three steps forward to her and he grabbed her by the wrist. Urgency in his red eyes as he looked at her blue eyes. "But that person you are with is a villain! I can't remember what he will do next, but in previous worlds, he had been nothing but trouble for us!"

"He is a villain, but he saved me when I needed a hero the most." She looked at him in the eyes as she defended Dabi. "I wanted to die so many times, but Dabi gave me a reason to keep living."

Kirishima couldn't argue with that. "It's my fault. If I remembered you quick enough, this wouldn't have happened." Countless times, she had been hurt and ended up being saved by Dabi. If he could be her savior, she wouldn't be in contact with the villains.

"It's not your fault, Kirishima. Things just turned out the way it is because of the way it is." She went to open the window she came in from only to realize she could no longer open it.

"Michiyo, wait!"

"I can't."

"What about us?! What about Todoroki?!"

The mention of Todoroki made her pause. "Shouto..."

"Todoroki have feelings for you, Michiyo, you and I know that! If you stay with that Dabi person, only tragedy and misfortune will be your end!" He really wanted her to stay, it's fine if she doesn't stay with him, but as long as she was happy and alive, that's all it mattered. Yes, there's countless worlds and scenarios in which she will meet Dabi, but there were also some worlds where she ended up meeting Todoroki first.

"Kirishima, what you know and remember, I know them too." She looked at him with a sad smile, "Shouto and I aren't meant to be either. I'm just not destined for happiness. No matter which world I am born in or who I end up with, I can never have a happy end."

"That's not true-"

"Then tell me! Between Yuuki and her, why am I the only one who must suffer the most?! At least Yuuki was only trapped in a world different from yours in one world, but she still ended up happy!" Michiyo was crying because it was so unfair; the souls were the same, but why must the treatment in their path of life be so different? Why was she the only one not allowed happiness? What did she do wrong that she couldn't be happy no matter what? This was why Kirishima's memories scared her, because she couldn't see one happy ending for herself. "It's not fair..."

Kirishima wanted to hold her close, but Michiyo turned herself into diamond dust.

"Michiyo!" The sparkling particles escaped between the gap of his fingers. He could do nothing but helplessly watch the particles flow into the air duct. "That girl...!" He moved the broomstick out of the way and he tried to go outside. Unfortunately, he was caught by Aizawa and was told to not go anywhere and return to class. Kirishima was in turmoil now; Michiyo's here! And there's nothing he could do to keep her here. 'Michiyo...' He wished she hadn't seen his memories! While it's true that his memories contained nothing about Michiyo and a happy ending, but that didn't mean this world couldn't change for her! He had to do something for her!

Michiyo escaped through the maze-like air ducts and she soon ended up outside of the building where everyone was camping. She looked like she wanted to cry when she looked back at it. Even though she couldn't go back to Kirishima and the others, it still felt nice being in his arms. The feeling was warm and nostalgic. "I'm sorry, Kirishima. I just can't leave Dabi alone." She could go back; she will have Kirishima and Todoroki if she were to go to them, but Dabi had no one. Dabi might have comrades now that he's in the League of Villains, but he doesn't open himself up to them like the way he does with her. What should she do? She really doesn't know.
