◆33◆ Song of Flower Arc - That is all I need

After noticing the helicopter above their heads trying to get a much better image of the scene with the camera, Todoroki immediately created a roof made out of ice to close off everything from the outside. He could only hope the camera did not capture Michiyo's face properly. 

"Michiyo, please stop. This isn't you." Todoroki started, "This isn't something you would do." 

"Of course not, I never wanted to kill anyone!" Michiyo looked at the now dead body, "I've been pushed, Shouto! She was going to arrest me for what I did!" 

Kirishima's eyes went wide, "Don't tell me you killed them?!" Because so many worlds were repeated and he had memories of them, it wouldn't be surprising if there was a world where Michiyo killed her sexual torturers. 'In so many worlds, she doesn't end up killing them! They always died of another cause! How did she end up being their killer?!' Kirishima tried to walk forward, but Michiyo stepped back. 

"Go away!" Michiyo shouted, "Don't you come near me!" 

"Michiyo, I-" 

"Don't say anything! Kirishima, do you have any idea how painful it is every time I look at you since seeing your memories?! Do you three have any idea how hard it is for me to see you?!" It was painful to look at Kirishima because there was a part of her who felt sorry for him; being born in so many different worlds again and again, always having memories that intertwined one another, and never finding the person he's truly looking for...Michiyo felt bad for him because he will always remember but she never could, no matter who she was born as. It was hard for her to look at Bakugou because she will always be reminded how other counterpart, Yuuki, always have the best endings with him. Michiyo would never admit it, but she was envious of Yuuki; why does she get to be happy while she never have one? Michiyo just wished to be happy, was that too much to ask for? As for Todoroki...it was hard to look at him because he was her lover in many alternate world from this one. In this world, her lover was Dabi, but knowing she couldn't be with either of them hurts her so much. 

Michiyo thought she finally had the chance to be happy when Dabi proposed to her, she thought all the things that made her unhappy was finally gone. Why did this have to happen of all times? 

"That ring...!" He saw it on the news by chance when he and Midoriya were under house arrest; the news talked about a blue ring being stolen from an aquarium. 

"I've never asked for anything much. In my life, I've never asked for anything...can you please let me go home? Can you pretend this never happened?" 

Todoroki looked at the body of Shiki and then he looked at the ice dome he had made before he looked at her again. "Michiyo, you did it on purpose. Everything was planned." 

"Todoroki?!" Kirishima was shocked to hear that. "What are you talking about?! Michiyo would never-" 

"If I didn't create a wall of ice, the diamond dusts would have hit the civilians. You were trying to get rid of witnesses." 

Bakugou laughed a little, "And here I thought you would never ever hurt a fly. You're actually cold when you want to be." 

Michiyo felt like she was being cornered. She clenched her fists and she put her hands to her heart. "This is unfair..." She started to cry because she didn't know what to do. There was a voice in her head who told her to kill them all and get it over and done with in order to go home, and there was another part of her who just wanted to reason with them. "Shouto, I can't go to prison. If I do, I won't be able to get back out again. Not just me, Dabi too. I want to protect him forever." With tears in her eyes, she looked at the corpse, "If I don't kill her, she will never ever let me rest easy. I just wanted to live with Dabi, why are you all stopping me?!"
