"Guh...! Arrggghh...!!!" Tokoyami was in great pain as he helplessly tried to keep the berserk Dark Shadow under control. He needed light because the only light from the stars and the moon above the night sky was not enough for the Quirk of darkness to be submissive.
Todoroki stayed in front of Michiyo, preparing to protect her no matter what.
"Shouto..." Looking at his back like this, she felt guilty for what she had done. It's because she helped Dabi that what was supposed to be a fun and thrilling experience for the students of U.A. turned out to be a bad experience. She wanted to tell Shouto, but the part of her who cared deeply about Dabi and his cause pulled her guilty self back. She could only keep quiet.
Dark Shadow was so powerful against the enemy Todoroki and Bakugou, The Quirk literally threw the deadly villain away from the vicinity, crushing many trees in the process. Michiyo was shocked because she had never seen such a Quirk in her life.
"I haven't played enough!" Dark Shadow shouted in a demonic voice, still wanting to crush some more things in its powerful wake. "Eek!" But the fun was over the moment Bakugou and Todoroki came at Tokoyami with the sparks from explosions and flames from the left hand.
"Ah...! Hah...hah...!" Tokoyami was left panting and gasping for air as his knees his the ground.
"A-are you okay?" Michiyo asked Tokoyami. 'He's Tokoyami...' She thought in her head.
"Y-yeah. Wait, who are you? How do you know my name?" Tokoyami asked as he looked at Michiyo.
"You...how did you get here?" Midoriya was the next to ask questions to Michiyo. "Why do you look familiar?"
Michiyo didn't know what to say or do. She looked down at the ground.
"Michiyo is my friend. I don't know how she's here, but I can't let her get hurt." Todoroki explained.
"I see, a friend of Todoroki-kun."
"Huh?! Isn't it a bit too convenient for her to show up along with the villains?!" Bakugou did not believe in Michiyo. It's too good of a timing to suddenly meet a new friend in the middle of a private land.
"What are you trying to say?" Todoroki challenged Bakugou.
"I'm saying this girl is fucking suspicious!"
"She is not suspicious." Todoroki reasoned, "If she is with the villains, why did she punch that villain?"
Midoriya smiled, "You tried to protect Kacchan and Todoroki-kun?"
Michiyo looked up at Midoriya, who was being carried by Shouji. She hesitated but she nodded.
"She didn't protect me!" Bakugou snapped at Midoriya.
"Thank you very much." Midoriya, just like all the other worlds, no matter who he was talking to, he was always kind to Michiyo or Yuuki.
"Don't ignore me, shitty nerd!"
Michiyo felt like crying when she heard such a simple thank you. She's the furthest thing from a hero, why was he thanking someone like her?
Todoroki gently wiped the tears away for her. "Don't cry." He patted her head with his right hand but his left hand was wiping away her tears.
His hand was so warm against her face, she wondered if her tears were cold to him. The temperature of tears, how cold was it? How warm was it? She doesn't know. All she knew was a simple thank you was enough to warm up the side of her who gave up on the thoughts of being a hero. "Thank you." That's all she could say at a time like this. When should she tell them she's the cause of this mess in this world? If they knew, will Todoroki stop being kind to her? Will Midoriya look at her with no smiles?
