Dabi covered her eyes with his left hand. He was struggling to grasp this reality because he wanted to stay as Touya to her for a little longer. Being Touya once again, he felt true happiness he thought he had lost as Dabi. He had the chance to be kind to her, to keep her safe, keep her smiles all to himself, and just appreciating the small and precious moments with her. He thought he had a lot more time left.

"Michiyo..." He didn't want her to see him as Dabi, even if he was ashamed of being Dabi in front of her. If he could go back in time and redo everything, he'd surely stop. He wanted to be Touya because he wanted to continue to live this peaceful moment with her. As Touya, he could forget about the contradiction and hypocrisy of the hero society because her smiles and her voice was like a bouquet of happiness to each tomorrow. As Touya, he touched love through her. As Touya, he could continue living in this dream where he could be with her.

Michiyo gently removed his hand from her eyes, not wanting him to block her with anymore white lies. She held his hand and she looked up at him with her usual smile. "I finally found you."

"...I didn't want you to find me." Dabi confessed to her.

"But if I don't find you, I'd be lost."

"You wouldn't be lost because Touya is there for you. He's taking care of you better than I ever could, hasn't he?"

Michiyo nodded at his words. She pressed the back of his hand against her cheek. She couldn't stop crying because she finally found him and she could finally see him in her memories.

"Then why? Why do you have to remember me, Michiyo? Why are you constantly looking for me when I don't want to be found?" He didn't want her to find the part of him who was Dabi. Yet, there was a part of him who wished to stay by her side as Touya...and secretly wish for her to find him. He was contradicting himself and he wanted to live inside the white lie with her. Even if it's a lie, he wanted this lie to live on.

He wanted to live in a lie where he had never hurt her, but she wanted to live in the truth where she could see him.

"I hate what you did, I can never forget or forgive you now that I remember everything." Michiyo said to him, her voice determined to get the message across to him.

He should have saw this coming. It was wrong for people to live in lies. He was sad, but he was a little relieved in a way; there was a part of him who wanted to threaten Hakanai Shiki to forever erase the memories of the ordeal from the two of them. He thought somewhere along the lines of 'It'd be great if we can wake up not remembering what happened that night. We can go back to those days again, I can go back to her again.' He was glad to have her remember him before he made those dangerous thoughts a reality...if he did that, that'd be him truly taking advantage of her.

"I understand." He could apologize to her forever and still have no forgiveness. He really did screw up. He looked away from her, he didn't want to see the final good bye with his own eyes.

"That's why, can you forgive me for making the world's wrongest decision?"

Dabi looked at her and he gasped when he saw her usual smile with the combination of the flowing tears. He never thought he, as Dabi, could see her smile like this. He thought she would no longer look at his way with her smile once she realize what he did. He was expecting her to leave him.

"No wonder I feel warm and a little shy around Touya. Haha, Touya is Dabi all along." Even if the mind doesn't remember, the body will always remember. She should have known there was something about Touya that was different from everyone else.

"Michiyo, have you gone mad?"

"Perhaps?"

Dabi was hesitant, but he touched her other cheek with his right hand. He was now cupping her face with his own hands.
